Ottawa Winter Parking Alerts

Get winter parking alerts for the city of Ottawa on your Android device!

Uses the City of Ottawa alerts to alert you directly of winter parking restrictions. After getting an alert you can move your car to a safe place to avoid getting tickets.

The app contains a widget that you place on your Android home screen for continuous alerts. To place the widget on your home screen, long-press on an empty area on your home screen, select "widgets", then select "Ottawa Winter Parking Alerts" widget and drag and drop the widget to your preferred location.

This app is based on City of Ottawa alerts, therefore you will get alerted as the City posts winter parking restrictions or lifts the ban as long as your device has internet access.

Some delay is possible since the device will only check periodically (to avoid draining your device's battery). Relies on the City of Ottawa alerts, therefore, no guarantee can be made by the developer.
