McAfee Safe Keyboard │ Privacy

I use many of McAfee's products, as I feel safest in the hands of them. I decided to try this app, and loved it right away. I fooled around with Incognito Mode for a bit and noticed that the keyboard had extra languages if you held down the space bar. What I'm wondering is: are there more languages? I type in Cyrillic quite often, but couldn't find it. If it's not too much to ask, could there be a future update with more languages? Either way, thank you for saving me and my devices again and again McAfee :)

Needs work. Enter key acts as the space key when using messaging Apps and is rather annoying. This seems a bit basic and puts me off using as a daily driver. I would however use daily once these simple issues are remedied. PS.. I'm using this on top of Gboard Keyboard. Please improve predictive text as it isn't yet up to scratch.

Only 2 real issues with this app. First is that it should automatically change a word like havent or its and put in an apostrophe. Second is, people swear, that's a fact. It's highly annoying to have to go back and change the word you typed because the word changer wants to be politically correct..

! A great layer of protection all by itself. But I combine it with McAffee. Security for best protection of all of them. Thanx McAffee. If you don't want to be hacked,get this app,what are you waiting for. Nobody does antivirus and peace of mind like this company.

You guys need to have a swipe method of typing so I don't have to press every letter. That is the one thing that makes it a bit of a hassle to use.

I just installed this app a few hours ago, but the lack of predictive text and lackluster auto-correct is frustrating. (I have auto-correct at the highest level, too.) I am now searching for another keyboard.

It's actually good but it lacks one critical feature: swipe method. Key presses is quite a clunky and slow method for people who are used to swiping.

McAfee, don't change! (I like you just the way you are.) Don't get me wrong, I'd love if you didn't have any permissions at all. (As this is possible.) But that aside, this is the best keyboard since actually using a physical keyboard. If you're entirely against permissions there is the hacker keyboard but it's a little unresponsive. Then there's the privacy keyboard app which doesn't work at all and I just wanted something with a little more privacy than swift key but also I hate their layout, I hate that Google forces Microsoft's crap keyboard on you. This is number 1. I like the qwerty layout, I like the normal number layout rather than the crunched up one in Swiftkey.

I love the idea of this keyboard and the security that goes with it. For the most part it's a great keyboard. I wish they would add the feature to increase the spacing between the keys, but all in all it's pretty good. UPDATE: The latest update is great, but this is a secure keyboard, why does it now want to use location?

I cannot install any more updates on my samsung galaxy s3 mini. "Device isn't compatible with this version". It has not received any updates for a while.

The update improved this keyboard. Key spacing needs to be farther apart like the Samsung keyboard to help with mistyping. People with smaller screens or big fingers need this.

Update 11/2/17 - spacebar is too small for fast fluid texting as larger fingered customers are prone to accidentally hit the cvbn keys; could do with an option to increas the size of the keyboard buttons or minimize the space between keys for a larger spacebar for maximum speedbtext efficiency. --- Update 27/12/16 - even when set on extreme autocorrect it barely make a difference and still can't tell when a word is just two words hastily typed without a space. --- Original - The app doesn't even attempt to correct any typos that are 2 words in error or even words accidentally linked with a letter than a space. And since the security feature is more an "I'll take your word for it" I don't see too much appeal for this when there are other keyboards that can do a similar yet better job

When I changed keyboards, a multiple choice survey popped up with pre selected reasons why I may have decided not to use the keyboard, so it would seem that McAfee is already aware of their shortcomings. The survey then crashed the keyboard when trying to select "other". The autocorrect and word suggestions need vast improvements. Having the languages on the spacebar is insanely aggravating. Even if I spoke the other two languages, having it randomly change the keyboard out while composing is frustrating. I feel that that this should be something toggled in the settings. Can it just use the default system language or something? I do like how it handles usernames and passwords with incognito mode, but so far that is the only thing it does well.

I like the app but after an update when I'm typing instead of seeing suggestions at the top, you have tab of "Video Music News etc" flicking back and forth. Even when you close it, it still comes back. It's very irritating. If I don't have the option to stop that I might uninstall the app.

Really needs better formatting for tablets with 10 inch screens, looks really funky in landscape. Also needs swipe typing really badly.

OK, I'm giving 5 stars because it's a beautiful and worthy concept. Some criticisms. The biggest problem is the omission of copy and paste, without that, the rest of these suggestions are futile. Frankly, I'm amazed it lacks this feature. 1. Needs UK dictionary, or the ability to import dictionaries. 2. The ability to reconfigure layout would be nice. 3. Accidental numerical insertion prevents autocorrection from working. Example: -> "Hell2o" 4. Words cannot be fixed post-space, so tap to fix would be a nice addition. 5. I'm aware of only one app that has a clear keyboard theme "hackers keyboard," but I really wish this app featured that. not only is it more private, but it also prevents current OLED screens from the "burn-in" effect. 6. I understand that McAfee provides many security tools free of cost, but I feel like this shouldn't be one of them. Firstly, because if this app was monetized, there would be greater incentive to update and upgrade, and secondly, because people like me would happily pay for a privacy-centric, android keyboard that isn't beholden to ad-extortion. In conclusion; this keyboard has a grest purpose and an already well-built GUI, so please make the adequate improvements, even just with the addition of copy and paste this keyboard would be my daily interface.

Very good, only problem is "whats app" keeps showing up in my file manager for some reason. Thank you for doing a great job.

Found this keyboard to be non-non-compatable with many other apps. For example: when the keyboard should pop up it just disappears again and is not accessible. McAfee finance gaurd is not useable with this keyboard. I have uninstalled this app and now use the samsung keyboard which works without fault. I would reinstall if it is updated.

I like the keyboard. Any issues with adding an invisible swipe option? Just a thought.

Great keyboard! One feature I'd love this keyboard to have is being able to swipe words its hard to explain but I hope you know what I mean Googles keyboard has it. Apart from that I love it

Keyboard that doesn't track words. Safe and relatively private but the sound feedback is awful (Minor complaint).

I feel safe when I type..& I love the M badge. Please add Indian languages, such as Bengali, Hindi. It will became more popular

Battery usage is high even if the device is idle

It works very well. The only thing barring me from giving five stars is the lack of glide typing.

Really like this keyboard but I wish incognito mode could be left on at all times and gesture/swype typing was available.

There privacy policy shared that they collect personal identifiable information from name, finger print, ok, serial number, etc... where's the privacy part?

It's missing the swipe/glide typing feature, that makes it a deal breaker for me since so used to it by now.

Little low on word library but i feel it dose it's job on safety, so i like it.

Why do you need location for a keyboard app. I'm curious?
