National Review for Android
Recently, the text on some pages has begin to shimmer when I magnify it. This causes eyestrain. Also, the links in the table of contents don't do anything. Finally, I usually have to start the app. three times in a row since it crashes the first two times. Galaxy Tablet A, Android 6.0.1.
I should have just burned a $20 bill. I forgot my password and after going back and forth with their outsourced finest Phillipino IT female I gave up. Don't bother with this crap. It's worthless.
Don't download this app. It will create a subscription and use your Google Play CC info to bill you monthly - without those charges going through Google. They'll appear on your bank statement as though they were from Google - but they are not. Good luck getting refund - or even simply cancelling this fraud. Save yourself the headache - don't download this app.
Paid for the subscription and suddenly it stops allowing me to read the content and requires another $20 payment. After 3 weeks of back and forth with customer service, I was told their was nothing that could be fone. What a joke!
Poorly executed... simply a scan of the print magazine. DO NOT PURCHASE.
The zoom on text is fundamentally broken. Can we get some fluid zooming please? The double tap doesn't work.
Doesn't recognize log in info, ever. Never gets digital support. It's a total waste of memory space.
Seems to be just a "newsstand" app, designed to allow you to buy a copy of the magazine. Would be much better if it gave you the TOC and ability to select one article to read, once.
Impossible to download latest digital issue!
Well balanced commentaries and surely interesting to read!
Fantastic
I did not have any of the problems alluded to in the other negative reviews. I am having no problems at all.

This app's main purpose should be to read content. It fails miserably at this. I enjoyed the flexibility of the Swishu app, and could easily read the content on my Nexus 6 phone. No chance with this rotten app. Furthermore, National Review killed providing content via the Swishu without notifying me. I had to raise a ticket and learn of it from Tinypass. Now no content. Liberals running this company?
