@Perry, ask the fed. reserve about that, this uses their data. It's questionable for many reasons, but it's the only "official" stat we've got.

Very handy, only one I found that goes all the way back to 1800. Useful to find out what it means when you hear about what something cost 150 years ago. A little annoying to have to enter two dates and an amount separately each time--would be nicer if it showed all three values on the screen.

I lived through various periods checked and know that prices and wages just don't line up.

I wish there was such an app for Norway...

This is a fun app. I enjoy this, I DO wish it had $ figures for -say... minimum wage for the years also. Or maybe average prices for simple items...

Couldn't enter any data in text fields

Handy but probably not as accurate as it could be; all data comes from fed statistics (suspect!) Inflation is deliberately underestimated.

Never checked it for accuracy, but it is oddly usefull.

Can't change defaults on my Droid. Won't accept input from input method android keyboard.
