The second holiest site in the Hejaz Saudi Arabia is the madiah. It was a city where Muhammad peace be upon Him migrated after he was driven out from makkah. Madinah was a mhammad’s destination after his Hijrah from makkah and became capital of rapidly increasing Muslim empire. The first mosque built in Muhammad’s time also located in madinah and is known as Qutba mosque which is destroyed by lightening probably about 850 CB.
