Photo Studio Light Setup

Not only do you have to pay for this app, but you also have to pay for other features as well, seems kind of a rip off. Features are not intuitive at all and you need to play around for a while before figuring out everything.

makes setting up off-site shoots a million times easier, it has become an invaluable tool for me as a photographer. the interface is easy to use, yet also complex and customizable. you don't know it but you need this.

A useful app that helps you to retain information about your lighting setups. The app could still use some improvement. 1) You can save the setup as an image. What about ability to take a photo with your phone and saving that alongside. Diagrams rarely tell the whole truth. 2) Being able to zoom in and out and generally make the "floorplan" larger would be great. 3) Some of the lights are bit wonky. As an example the "small softbox" icon is physically biggest of all the lightbox icons, stuff like this should be fixed.

1) Only two camera options? 2) As a speedlite user, options are too restrictive in terms of customization. Some things I use simply are not listed. A suggestion would be to add "Other" and allow the user to build the item used, even allowing icon selection. That option should be available across the board. 3) I did not test this since I uninstalled from aggrevation, but having the model's head and body independent so that they may be oriented differently... Otherwise, has potential.

Doesn't warn you if the lighting setup isn't saved when you close the app. Update: the developer updated the app. Great support!

I've been looking for an app that allows me to plan out the lighting to achieve the desired effect for a while now. Finally found one that works like it should.

Wow!!! This is very useful application. It's so cheaply, only approxiately 3$. It is designed for professional and amateur photographers, photography students and educators. I also can back up and share my studio setup to everyone. I like this app.

This app is great for anyone that wants to enhance their photo shoots by selecting the lighting set up beforehand! I'm looking forward to the added functions coming soon.
