This app is bad news. It keeps crashing on my RAZRi. It works OK 75% of the time but I need 100%. Edited 14 Nov 2015. Since I wrote the review above, I've stuck with this app through 3 new phones and it hasn't let me down since. I'm now using it a Nexus 6P with no problem.

Fab app, easy to use, I prefer manual input so I control who appears etc. Useful additions would be to have a search engine to save trawling through the list to find someone.. and to have the add button somehwere else so you don't have to scroll to the bottom of the list to add a new birthday. .

Widget keeps disappearing from homescreen after restarting phone. Anniversaries without contact picture can neither be opened nor edited. Apps keeps saying "Unfortunately, Birthdays has stopped". Apart from this it works fine but, these two issues honestly keep annoying me.

When I import the csv file exported from this app on my other phone, it fails to relink the contacts to the phone contacts, and doesn't show their photos. Please fix importing, or add an option to relink contacts to the ones in the phone.

It was a long search but I found this first-class app eventually. This does exactly what I need. Well done and thanks. Edited to add that I found a small oddity and contacted Maximilian via email. I got a fast reply telling me of his bugfix. I downloaded the fixed app and all is now well. Great app - great service from developer. You can't ask for more.
