Zotable for Android
I like the app well enough. However, I need the ability to download documents from my zotero account where I store all of my documents.
Not cool bro
Very disappointed. I had pretty basic expectations for this app: just allow me to add/edit items and sync with my Zotero library across devices. Both things were supposedly included with this app, but most fields can't be edited when adding a new item, nor will the app sync with my Zotero library. So, for my purposes, this app is useless.
It's based off Zandy and still (for me at least) has all the same problems with syncing large collections: collections don't sync automatically and then sync only in lots of 50 or 100 (then fail to sync any more). Bravo to the dev for resurrecting this, but looks like a big job ahead to make it properly robust...
When attempting to search for ISBN, Zotable crashes with the following message: "Unfortunately, Zotable has stopped." Please fix.
Descent viewer but barely able to add new books because of crash. Unable to get metadata for certain books although data is available
Trying to use it on samsung galaxy note 10.1 (2014) but it crashes immediately
Trying to add books to database program repeatedly just stopped.
This is the best Zotero app. It needs tag completion for tag edit field. Attachment download should be turned off for tag _tablet used by Zotfile. It ought to support Juris-M extra field someday... My main use for this today is tagging to curate collections while I read and annotate PDF placed on tablet by Zotfile via Dropbox.
Although with some design "flaws", feature-wise Zotable has proved to be a good and bug free Zotero client for the busy academic. EDIT: Syncing duplicates items in the device and the cloud.
Very nice UI, the best I've seen on a Zotero client on android. Needs work on functionality; you can't edit all fields of an item, can't download attachments, and a few other issues that limit its functionality. I hope the dev keeps updating because this app shows real promise. Still worth the $2 for me because the bar code scanner works well, along other features.
While I understand that out is a work in progress based on Zandy, not having the ability to download attachments is below the bar for minimal functionality for a non-free app.
Force close on samsung note 3

With RefMe going and the new platform being regarded less than favourably, this could be a real opportunity for this app. The barcode Search is really helpful and the rest of the interface works well enough. However the sync back to Zotero doesn't seem to work at the moment
