Wakeify - Spotify Alarm

Seems to be a bit hit and miss. Sometimes it plays a Spotify song as intended, but most often it plays a system alarm. When I snooze it it'll start playing the Spotify song immediately after. Edit: Seems to have improved with time. Rating adjusted accordingly.

I have an LG G5 and Spotify premium. You have to search manually, you can't add from a playlist or your saved songs. And it allows you to add multiple songs but reorders them however it feels like, so you can't create a playlist of progressively more up tempo and loud music, which was what I was hoping to do. It's okay but not perfect.

Thing works flawlessly, but your interface blows.

Get all the features I like about an alarm app specially it works with Spotify can't ask for more just keep up the great work

The other reviews are wrong. The app is doing exactly what it should. Works perfectly.

This is supposed to sync up with spotify but it doesnt let me select a playlist and I have to put each song one by one on the alarm and I have about 200 songs on my playlist it would take too much time putting each song in plus it didnt even tell me to sign into spotify. This app has nothing to do with spotify and all you do is wake up to music that you set that doesnt even stay there and usually leaves the second day of using, if im using this wrong please help or at least tell me why.

Didn't work for me coz don't have spotify premium and didn't read the blurb before download.

Works flawlessly on my LG G5. The interface isn't flashy, but it works perfect. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Launches the app but doesn't play, reverts to system alarm

It won't save songs I select, it let's me choose a song I want, but doesn't save it. It plays the phone's default alarm sound. Too bad because I'd love to use this if it worked!

It perfectly works for me. For those who say that it does not work is because they are not smart enough to use it. It is too easy, no problem to set up alarms , great app.

I love this app now finally I can wake up to my favorite songs thnx so much it only opens Spotify after I close the alarm but IDC this app is great

Finally got it to work, but now it will not play the music I have selected, only the default alarm

The songs don't load no matter what, he says the same thing to everyone who says it doesn't work but everyone is doing it correctly and it won't work, do not download

Won't connect to Spotify and just plays default alarm. Looking at other reviews it won't even do that reliably. Uninstalled.

Development appears to of stopped and does not work with Spotify

Had no problems with getting this to work

For some reason it just says something to the effect of "We couldn't launch spotify" for any song, any time. And yes, its played through my phone, and I have spotify on my phone.

Really not happy with this. I downloaded this last night and when it went off this morning it went off at 8:37 instead of 8:40, and there was no way of actually turning it off except to delete the app.

No support for playlists

Will never actually play the song I ask it to but rather just standard alarm. Please fix it

This is a fantastic app that does exactly what I wanted to have in a Spotify based alarm clock. Two things though: 1. I wish there was a way to see artist names in the tracklist for an alarm (for the case of tracks with same names). Even better would be to be able to preview songs or open them in Spotify (in the event you wanted to show a friend what you are waking up to in the morning). 2. The instructions are unclear as to what needs to stay open in order for the alarm to work (Spotify + Wakeify?)

My screen will just illuminates but no alarm sounded

Very good app, if a little basic. A few points though. 1. You must disable any pincode/password/pattern on your phone. 2. You must have spotify Premium. 3. You will have to pick and load songs individually. 4. Layout/Design of snooze/turn off is very basic. 5. It only plays one song from your list which is a shame. Other than point five, one through four, are minor issues for me. But I'd like to have it continue to play. Fix point five and it Will be 5*. Otherwise Good app.

So simple and affective. A direct link to your spotify tracks to use them as an alarm tone.

I'm on a tablet and I downlowed it and it puts no songs on it if it has a x on it it means you can't put it on and i tried every song what into and it egsists on spotify DONT DOWNLOWD IT Ipif you have and it works send me a message if I could I'll give it a 1% star if I could but I can't :(

I tried it and it didn't work my Internet is up and I was just on Spotify needs a lot of improvement

Sometimes works, usually doesn't. Out of the few times it's worked it's usually played the backup alarm despite constant internet connection and checking it before bed. I want an alarm I can set and leave then it wakes me up for work when I need it to. This is not that app.
