AutoSafe Dash Cam BlackBox for Android
DOES NOT GIVE OPTION TO STORE RECORDINGS ON SD CARD so it makes app totally useless. THE ONLY STORAGE OPTIONS ARE FOR GALLERY OR INTERNAL which record directly to the phone. I don't want to clog up my phone space. Uninstalling.
It's great.. but... When I select speed in kph it still provides speed in mph but shows the kph indicator. Samsung J3 with Lollipop 5.1.1 and HTC One XL. Android 4.2.2 .... please look into this.
Works very well. I've had other dash cameras that wouldn't clear my screen. Keep up the great work! ????
It won't let you delete the videos you take
Great dash cam app
Awesome dashcam application with nice features I like it
Excellent
why 'contacts' permission?
Really needs an infinite recording mode, an audio recording toggle, black and white option, and variable framerate recording option for time-lapse or simply to reduce file size. Dual camera recording would also be nice in case of tailgaters and backup-related accidents.
Why "Video max time" only 15 min ? Can extend more ?
All fine, but why would dash cam need permissions to access my contacts?
The app itself works great and is easy to use. But the camera quality looks amazing until the second I click record then it gets super blurry. Can't read any signs or license plates or anything. That's the only reason for 2 star rating. Don't see anyone else with the issue so I'm going to try it on my galaxy S5 and see if it's any better. If the focus issue gets fixed it will definitely be a 5 star review though. *EDIT* Just downloaded on Galaxy S5 and there is no focus issue on it. Issue only on Moto
Has lots of room for improvements! I like it :)

Needs to read camera sensor of Nexus 5x to fix upside down snapshots. Google says there is a. API for that. I wish it could encode text overlay like iOS devices. Update: I really like this app. The YouTube upload is seamless. Closed Caption works for overlay of GPS data. The Nexus 5x sensor problem happens on all dash cam apps I have tested. Android API compatibility is not the fault of the developer.
