This app is awesome both pro and free versions. Simply to use and easy to set up and import custom routes to ride, it was almost seamless integration to me. Great job

Best to do a clean start each time. Although it sometimes hangs during startup it has never failed while actually riding. You can even start mid-ride provided you manually set the next cue.

Went on a 50 mile, I knew the start of the ride so only used it for the second part for when I didn't know the route. The app kept dropping GPS so either there so no blue dot or it was miles behind. And that was when the app was wasn't crashing, in the space of an hour it must of crashed at least 12 times, which meant each time I needed to stop and restart it. One time it even caused my phone to freeze. Due to the above the app added 25 mins to my ride.

Oddly named app given that it doesn't show cute sheets for me. This may be because it's too busy crashing. Note to creator: don't sell anything until you know it works. I'd like my money back please

I have used the Pro version over several 40+ mile trips and the app has worked seamlessly. Audio cues are great as long as the route is mapped accurately on RideWithGPS. Worth the money at introductory rate!

I've persevered with this for ages, but I've given up now. I've just tried to use it for a 50 mile ride and it crashed before the first direction! It then had no idea where I was in the ride and never caught up with the directions. It even crashed virtually every time I tried to use it just to refer to the mapping. It's a shame because it's a good idea and I can't seem to find an alternative, but in its current state it's simply no use whatsoever.

Rode 98 miles today with lots of unfamiliar turns. Unlike a year ago, Cuesheet never missed a turn. The only issue was 1 crash (the app not me) which was also an improvement. No noticeable battery drain. Priorities for upgrades: if off course the app should adjust automatically to get you back on. That should solve having to manually fast forward after the app crashes, which is annoying. Despite its flaws, all in all it made my ride today MUCH easier. Definitely better than paper cues so worth a few $

I tried to use the app today on a 41 mile bike ride. At mile #10, the app stopped working. I tried to get the app running and it crashed 4 times. I gave up and my phone back in my saddle bag. At mile #36, the app suddenly came to life on its own and gave me directions for the last 5 miles of my ride. At this point, I'll stick with a paper cue sheet and fire up the app if I get lost

Crashes when trying to load a gpx file

It's always been 'buggy' and crashes at least once every ride, but the new upgrade always crashes on startup on my Moto G so I can't use it at all now. Update - Thanks for the reply. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling (twice), but it still crashes on startup I'm afraid. UPDATE 2 - Now starts. Many thanks.

Great app! (Update) I now have a Samsung S5 and testing this app. I discovered that my phone overheated during a bike ride and it turned itself off. It could be user error; I'm still learning how to use this app

I was a fan of the free version, and was very happy to see the recent upgrade, as well as the pro version. I've tried a few other free apps, but haven't had much luck with them, or have found them too complicated / difficult to set up. CueSheet is simple and easy to use, and it just works. CueSheet got me around a 200 km course last week in the rain, with my phone tucked safely in my pocket in a ziplock bag, using the audio cues function. Some people are complaining about the price of the Pro Version, but in my opinion, paying a few dollars so I can use a device I currently own, rather than spending hundreds of dollars on a Garmin or other such device, is a great deal. Besides, I don't think the Garmin offers audio cues! (BTW, for those having issues, try contacting the developer. He's quick to respond and eager to help troubleshoot.)

I've just tested this and for me it's a killer app. I used offline maps on a route I don't know and I didn't get lost at all. My 20 mile ride consumed 8% of my battery with the screen, voice prompts, and GPS all on for the duration of the ride. I've been looking for exactly this app. My use case is interesting, as I didn't want to mount my Nexus 5 on my bike, I bought an inexpensive pre-paid waterproof Kyocera Hydro and that worked great totally offline.

I have used this app for 12 months and it was my preferred app for guided bike rides. But it has one major flaw... I plan my routes with ridewithgps, and modify the cue sheet instructions, getting rid of about half and re-entering some. Then I play them back via cuesheet, using an earbud to overcome any traffic noise. I do not attempt to follow on the screen unless something goes wrong. The main problem arises when the app does not detect that you have reached one of the cue sheet turns. Happens about once every 5-8 turns. Until it detects this turn, it will not read you the next one, so it effectively stops working at that point. Samsung Galaxy s3 mini. No battery problems. Infrequent crashes. Can go "Off route" on long straight sections. If you try to restart half way through a route, you must step through every turn to get to your present position. Basically, it has no way of adapting to where you actually are on the route. Been no updates for months, although ios version has come out. EDIT: the developer is no longer authorising posts on his android forum, and the app website is closed down. Draw your own conclusions.

Why on earth would an app for biking not have audio cues?! Also, every time i change my music i don't want to have to restart my route, if it is following me with my GPS why can't the cues keep up? However the route creation is great, much better than any other I've used. An option to give directions would be nice, but it was easy enough to map out in conjunction with my google maps directions.

Didn't load kml files from Google. Don't want to download other rides near by. Doesn't meet my needs.

Awesome app

Good app but pro version too expensive for something I only use occasionally and adds very annoying in free version. Will be uninstalling as it is now unusable without pro pack and not worth the upgrade price to me. If it was only $2 or 3 I would go pro but not at $8.

Excellent app and very responsive developer. However £5.37 for the pro pack! I rather feel the developer is being much too greedy. £2.50 and I'd happily buy it

I would give this app 5 stars if the cue sheet included mileage at each turn. Other than that, an excellent app for rides in unfamiliar territory

This provides an important feature missing from most nav programs - the ability to guide you through a course. It runs fine on D4. I experience a lot of hiccups, but nothing that gets me off course. Thanks! ADDED: We use RWGPS to collaboratively create routes for the largest weekly ride in Charlotte, NC. (PMTNR, 100+) We use this app with a loudspeaker to communicate turns, dangerous intersections, regrouping stops, etc. It is quite valuable. It is battery heavy, as to be expected with GPS hungry apps

I don't remember updating the app for over a week at least, but it stopped working! I can see a list of my files, but when I pick one, it doesn't load up info. I have a good wifi connection, so that's not the reason. Perhaps some other apps I updated are disabling this app? I don't know which one, but I want to keep this app over many I have!!! Thanks!

Great app - does what it says

App is unusable in audio-only pro mode; mounting phone and looking at map/cues is free today although buggy. Refund? My suggested short-term development roadmap: 2 Stars: Fix battery drain issue and GPS smoothing... even with GPS sensitivity set to "200" it spent most of my ride announcing "Off route... Off route... rejoining route" on long segments of open road. Had to stop every few miles and pull out phone to check cue sheet manually. Despite almost no data or screen use, this app used over 60% of my S5 battery (3h ride) while spotify bluetooth streaming used barely 20% 3 Stars: Voice cues should briefly mute other media output so that instructions are heard clearly. With cues being spoken at the same volume as music it's next to impossible to understand the instruction. ESPN interrupted with its alert about a dozen times and the music got real soft while "de duh de, de duh de" was at full volume 4 Stars: Once this app (correctly) identifies that I'm off-route, it should re-calculate and give updated instructions for returning to route. 5 Stars: Add ability to join routes from current location and/or "resume" after switching back from another app.

Don't rely on this if you are going for a 20+ mile ride, your battery won't last that long running CueSheet. I download the maps prior to the ride as suggested and switch the Map Source as suggested, but it just drained 12% of my battery in about 15 minutes of riding. It also crashed once that time. The only thing reliable about this (and this is the ProPack I've upgraded to) is that it will reliably crash at least once. Even when it is working fine, it won't give you the turn-by-turn directions unless you are on course. So if you get off track, or the app crashes and you have to restart (which resets the cuesheet to the first turn) you have to get back on course, then manually select which turn you want next. Not exactly the best solution when you're in the middle of a ride.

Using CueSheet Pro with my RideWithGPS account. Loading My Rides functions OK but when I try to navigate it is impossible to get the cursor to follow my ride, i.e. the cursor remains at the start point. I can manually press the compass key to get the cursor to temporarily move to the center of the screen, but then immediately it moves back to to starting point. What is the problem? Now understand that solution is to keep both CueSheet and Google Maps open at the same time on the desired route (which must then be made in both Ride with GPS and Google Maps which is not smart). Tested it and it worked. I change my rating to 3. :-)

It's been working well. Very sensitive to my current location. One request I have is that the arrow should always point upward (and map should rotate around).

If you have to detour off a route it doesn't pick up the cues when you get back on route. Very frustrating as would be great if it did! Also if you try to get back to the route, you have to cycle through every cue to get to where you are. I love the app but could do with these issues being sorted

Having the same issue about getting off the route, but I can say that the customer service is perfect - very responsive. No doubt this will be corrected soon!
