It is a decent app but the interests outside of sports are really broad. For example: crafts. It can refer to scrapbooking, sculpting, costuming, making bracelets, or anything of the sort, so you may like to sculpt but they like to scrapbook but it says you have a common interest that you don't really have. Also, it would be good to have genres of interest like scifi, fantasy, comedy, romcoms, that would be a similar interest that would show compatibility. Also, searching by interests would be helpful too. Also your daily matches are a worse matchmaker than my mom. Seriously, why are 9/10 oglf my matches women with children when I made it clear I'm,not ready for children?

I was dumb enough to pay $131.94 for this garbage (that's set to auto-renew by the way). Even so, they expect me to pay extra to stay visible to other users. App doesn't save information I edit, and all photos are shown in low resolution. I feel like I've been swindled... and I'm still lonely!

Pay for every basic feature. Don't want to see daily match listings with no pics? Too bad. "Missed connections: you drove across town and passed by one other member in the middle of no where, what a coincidence!"

After writing someone and sending the message it will disappear and I'll have to type it again. In app purchases need to have better security controls. I had the app opened in my pocket and something was purchased without me knowingly doing it and they would not refund my money. Over all I don't think I'll renew my subscription with Match. Also recently I've been having problems receiving messages from people and them receiving mine. Very irritating.

Why am I constantly getting matched with people who aren't even looking for my ethnicity?!!! They've stated what they're looking for yet you keep sending them to me everyday!! If this continues I'm definitely canceling my subscription. Yesterday's update wiped my entire profile and all of my messages are gone! My filters now say no results found... really.

All the approval of the profile goes unchecked. There are a ton of catfish on here. I report more than I send emails. Got a subscription hoping for something, but isn't working out. The Free and Pay model doesn't fit in, because you try to message a free user and they can't even message you back. So you wasted your time messaging someone that aren't really trying. Either go fully free or fully pay. Don't mix it. They don't even send you a notice that your subscription is renewing. So I'm getting screwed over to getting a subscription that I canceled before the next active subscription is even being used. Apparently the customer service phone number is for premium users only, but I can't even access it with a subscription. I don't recommend this at all.

I have a pixel XL and was told that their latest app was not compatible with my phone which is ridiculous. Now I am stuck using a web version after paying for a subscription. Service completely sucks too

My paid membership includes plenty of misdirection. Can't email someone who views your profile? You're f-ing kidding me. You can only type a couple characters on one of their pics? WHY DID I PAY FOR THIS?? Entire app is designed for user to waste time clicking unqualified profiles so THAT profile gets more views. You'll get baited with countless profiles way outside your preferences. Tiny thumbnail on app means you'll have click and view to increase their # of views to see that they are an AARP member and how old they are as well as their preferences...

It focuses on revenue generation and not on bringing 2 mutually interested people together to get connected. Very disappointed because it was expensive for the 6 month package even though it's the cheapest.

Too many bots and most girls can't even respond. I have 3 different girls like me, I go check they're profile and it takes me to another girls profile. Not worth the money. Not to mention they leave peoples profile, that no longer are on any more.

Ok, I do like it. The women totally out-class me though. And the online help does warn of possiblility of lost unsent msgs due to timeout. Would have to cache to storage i guess to avoid.

This app is very clumsy and not easy to navigate. The 'helpful hints' are not helpful when they make you perform a task you did not want to do (i.e. like a photo). It just doesn't seem as well organized as some other dating apps.

If I wanted to pay 10 dollars a month to talk to someone online, I sure as hell wouldn't pick Match. This app is nice and all, but I'd like to do more than like or dislike without having to cough up money.

Can't even chat with someone, unless you want to pay! At least have a trial period for a reasonable price. I like many have been scammed by these dating sites, once bitten twice shy.

When I click the missed connection notification...i can never find the person. Often times when I do a search...it tells me, "Are you being too picky"? "Broaden your search".... Really? It worked fine last night and I never changed my search options. Waste of money. Plus they put free profiles on for people. When you respond, they don't get it until they buy a membership, which will most likely never happen. Don't waste your time. If you must spend a fortune...try eharmony.

You pay for membership and then have to pay for everything else. You have to pay extra to boast your profile during rush hour, pay to guarantee you're message is read, and pay to have help with you're profile. BS. Selection is slim, guess because I didn't pay for extras. Matches don't match with my criteria. Waste of time. Better off with a free site.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!! The matches are horrible. It is a SCAM. There is no refund no matter how hard you try. There terms of service are convoluted and full of lies. Bumble is ten times better and free.

Keeps popping up a mandatory review. Must rate 1-5 stars before it will let me pass. I keep giving it a 1 star and warning them that I'll keep doing it as long as the survey is mandatory and continues to pop up all the time.

Initially I thought I was paying for a one month subscription for 19.99 just to try it out. It turns out that I paid for 6 months with auto renew. I didn't even know it was on auto renew until I dug deep to find the settings. It's been almost a month and my profile has 0 views. I've messaged a few girls but none have responded. Now, it's just a matter of grinding out these 6 months...what a scam...

This app is very user unfriendly compared to other dating apps and there are microtransactions everywhere. Even IF you buy a subscription, when you decide to message someone, they have to pay to message you back. The app is not here to help you find love, it's here to help you drain your bank account because you're lonely, and in these people's eyes, lonely people are suckers

Dear Match. Compared to other dating services, nice algorithm your service has to practically halt a profile from being viewed, even despite having a paid subscription, unless the user pays additionally for your 60 min "top spot" feature.

At times the app won't open and messages are delayed. Same old stuff where they screen your messages and delivery is not certain

The app is all over the place. Notifications everywhere, but doesn't refresh the messages when I get a new one. Sometimes I have to force shut down the entire app just to see new searches, messages, and to get the notification icon to disappear. Edit: this is the second time it's asked me to rate the app. Lowering it by one star per ask...

The app works pretty well, and the message platorm is nice to have l, but it has a bit of lag since messages don't automatically refresh. Otherwise helpful to have for easy access.

App is okay, but website has better functionality. Both of them include people well outside search criteria, which is very annoying.

Match is a pay site that keeps asking you for more money even once a member and paid to join. They throw up ads you have to close to get past so yoy can use the app. Ads like Make your profile stand out. Pay so they can reply and so on. Most girls on here are not members and there is no way to know if they are or not until you message them. Most messages are a Complete waist of time. And expect to keep paying out if you want to have non members be given an option to contact you back. Also very few new members through the months if you're going to join just do a month payment and exhaust your interest because after that it's just same profiles showing up on search over and over again. Many not active in over a month.

Deceptive app! Charged me upon log in!! Logged in on a new device, all I did was enter my email and password and hit the log in button and it charged my Paypal account for 3 months of service! Disputing with Paypal. Google needs to kick this out of the app store!!

My complaint is the use of flash sales. You click once and get ten minutes to choose half price. Otherwise its full price.

Be careful with this app. They re-activated my account twice after I decided not to renew. It's also very shady, example the first 2 days after I finally got my account cancelled I had more notifications and likes and views than the last 2 months my account was active. Buyer beware.

If you are willing to keep an open mind toward the possibilities of online dating, and you possess a genuine desire meet people with similar interests that you match with; then this application is worth the $10 a month investment. Be patient and honest, and life will find a way.

I tried to reopen an older account. It asked for my zip. I entered my old zip, it locked me, I called customer service, they were rude and unhelpful. They don't want my money. The end.

I have had the worst luck with this dating site. The company match.com has not helped me at all in the last three months of my six month subscription.

Good for the most part. Lots of people easy to report fake people. I had to use computer to deal with setting main picture. No chat options on app you have to use computer.

Expensive. Could not cancel the account if they keep on spamming me I will have to send them to the spam folder

Don't Pay! Honestly. I have had almost no response from anyone on this site. Ok Cupid, tinder, and pof are all free and get way better results. Match sucks because you pay, but half the people on their don't so even if you message them, they can't read it or message back (unless you pay even more). Plus "for your convenience" they automatically charge you when your membership expires. So if you don't believe me and have to buy for yourself be sure to cancel the automatic renewal. Good lookin' out Ryan. Yeah no prob.

The mobile app is a little confusing to navigate and has too many notifications. I get an app notification and an email EVERY TIME I get a new message and no way to turn them off without turning off all notifications completely. Very annoying.

If a bunch of dip-wads wouldn't mess it up, I'd like to see chat rooms make a comeback ... I've had more success dating on here than Plenty of Fish (POF, which may not be saying much lol) More of the women seem more pleasant here

Poorly designed. Awful service. Expensive for nothing in return. I accidentally paid it with my paypal and now have to fight with them to try to get out of this stupid thing. NOT IMPRESSED.

This app is so slow!! Nothing ever loads for me! I'm really pissed because now I payed for a membership and the damn thing doesn't work?!
