The Martian Alerts App allows Martian Voice Command Watch users to customize the Watch settings and their Watch Notification/Alert preferences.
Features Include:
• Connection status information between App and Watch.
• Simple interface to customize which Android Messages/Notifications/Alerts you want sent to the Watch.
• Customizable Vibration Patterns for each Message type with customizable Vibration Intensity settings.
• Set the Watch to vibrate at a Target Minute each hour.
• Set one-time or repeating alarms to be sent to the Watch.
• Find Watch and Find Phone
• Configure other Watch preferences and settings including display of World Clock, Weather Forecast, Language, Do Not Disturb (DND), LED Light Display, Leash, Gesture, Date and Time Format, Time Zone, Scroll Speed, Alert Scroll Delay, Character Limit, and Bold Numbers.
• Help Section including access to Product Registration, User Manual, Frequently Asked Questions, Sample Notifications and Check Firmware Version.

What is new in this version:
In version 2.0 several bugs have been fixed and multiple new features have been added including:
• Receive Notifications from 1000s of Apps – Now you can get alerts and messages from more than just Calls, Text Messages, Calendar, Email, Facebook and Twitter. Your watch now supports alerts from almost any app that sends push notifications to your phone. 18 popular apps are pre-set on the list, and whenever you get your first alert from an app not there (e.g. ESPN SportsCenter), that app will be added to the list.
• Select Which Watch Notifications/Alerts to Receive – Filter the Notifications you want to receive on your Watch using a simple on/off App interface.
• Customizable Vibration Patterns – Set custom Vibration Patterns for individual Notifications in order to distinguish alert types without even a glance at your Watch. With this feature you’ll know if an incoming alert was, for example, a text message rather than an email.
• Silent Alarms – Create up to five one-time or repeating vibration-only alarms using the App. Applications include silent wake-up, medication reminder, an advanced alert for a scheduled train stop, etc.
• Do Not Disturb (DND) – Receive only Silent Alarms and restrict other notifications.
• Hour Repeater – Receive a unique double-vibration at a target minute of each hour during a user-defined period of the day. Great for just a nudge on the hour or a signal to get up and stretch at a given time every hour.
• Bold Numbers Option – Displays all numerals on the Watch in Bold font. Great for improved viewing of numbers in sunlight and when on the move with fitness alerts.
• Character Limit Locking – Limit Notifications on the Watch to 40 characters if desired.
• Sample Notifications – Send your Watch a sample text or email message to test the connection between your Watch and mobile device.
• Check Firmware Version – Ensure that you have the latest version of Firmware on your Watch.

This watch and app are really great! Once you figure out the right options that need to be turned on, Google now does work just have the right settings on for it to work! There needs to be more features between the app and watch though. Keep up the great work!

I love this watch. I use to miss so many calls. Now it will vibrate when a call comes in just a little before the phone rings giving me extra time to get to my phone. All the apps i get time date weather and battery level. And this is just the notifier.

This app is very good for Martian Voice watches.Only thing I have not understood is the use of the feature "Enable Phone Answering" in the set up menu.What I guess is,if this option is checked,we should be able to answer calls from the watch otherwise we should use the phone but not the watch to answer calls.But whether we check or uncheck this option,the watch always answers the calls.So I think it needs to be fixed.

the only notifications i get from this app is text messages. no email no weather. etc. on both phones. spent an hour on phone with martian about the problem and they have no answer. Very unhappy.

Version 1.44 is one of the solid app that work perfectly with Martian Watch. Once its connected, on your phone will show the watch battery meter on your top left corner which indicating you're connected and all you have to do is turn on all the features you want, set up and ready to go. I really ... really love this version. I am so looking forward to new fun cool features from Martian Watch.

When I press the top button it goes to Google Now but the phone speaker gives the indication to talk, not the watch and then I can't even use Google Now. OR it connects with Google Now and I say a command and it ends the call.OR it immediately ends my "call" with Google Now and shuts it off completely. PLEASE FIX

The service no longer turns on talkback accessibility mode which makes my phone and this app usable again! Wishlist: 1) It'd be awesome to be able to recall the last 5 notifications somehow directly from the watch. 2) the Martian service always tries to connect to the watch, I want to be able to turn this off so I can let another app prioritize my Bluetooth connections. (In my car I want to use my car phone connection)

I have two martian watches. Both of them say "connecting..." when i try to connect them but they never do end up connecting. I am using a S3, Firmware version 1.64, App version 1.55. Also a UI that is more compatible with different screen sizes and more compliant with Android standards would be a nice improvement.

Martian is still in its test mode. The are fixing problems as they go. You must be patient. All of the other so called " Smart Watches " do not have the features and styling that the Martian line has to offer. If you read about all of the other watches reviews out there you will see what I am talking about. So all I am saying is hang in there for the ride. It has been a fun ride and a real learning experience for me.

Tried connecting on 3 different android devices and it never worked. Only connected to my iphone. App sucks. Cuts off when trying connect to the watch. Seems like it only works on apple devices
