Fliq Notes Notepad

I've been using this app for a couple years now and have loved it, and when I recently got a new phone had to install it again then cut and paste all my info back into it, then I got the bright idea to add a password just in case, the only problem was I forgot I did and days later when I needed some info I couldn't open it because I didn't remember the password I used and theres no way the get a hint as to what it is? HUGE COMPLAINT

Seems the developer has given up supporting the sync to Outlook function. They have a Markspace cloud backup and while more reliable it has its own issues like creating duplicates.

My fav Android note taking mini-app. Small, yet has all the features I need. I believe the programmers are the real deal; honest and hard working.

I like the structure but the cloud backup signin didn't work and I don't trust the providerto install the latest release. Local backup was taken away years ago. Sad.

The developer has abandoned this app! Do not buy! The cloud service (an extra $10/year doesn't work either, even though they will take your money!

How hard it to make a notepad that has a weekly day to day notepad. I wrote my things down for a day then it asks to pick a color like this thing needs a helmet.

Loved this app until I got my google pixel and it stopped working. Frustrated.

Crashes on new phone. Just updated my cloud subscription to prepare for changing phones. Went from S3 to Note 4 and it crashes when enabling cloud sync. Note 4 is on 5.0 Android. Others have noted 5.0 issues, when is the fix?!?

Decent basic notepad application, but its original intent was to provide a way of creating and synchronizing notes between a mobile device and a desktop computer. Since Mark/Space appears to have abandoned the Mac market (at least its Missing Sync product), this app has limited use. (Synching to a cloud server doesn't fill this gap, due to significant privacy concerns.)

Love the app but just paid the 9.99 to upgrade, went to sign in thru my tablet and now it won't stop force closing. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still doing it. The entire reason for upgrade was to access everything between devices

Something changed recently and I can't open it anymore... Cloud backup reboot completly failed, too... can I get my suscription $$ back?

I can not share notes like iphones can, so I don't like it.

New phone. How can I get what was on my fliq notes from my old device. Hoping to get some information from the developers or downgrading 5star rating after having this app for years.

Seems the developer has given up supporting the sync to Outlook function. They have a Markspace cloud backup but i cant bring myself to either trust or pay for that when it would have been so simple to add the ability to save and load data files for the Notes app and back that up to Google drive. Maybe if they had got the Outlook sync to work reliably i would be more likely to consider their cloud.. It is seriously time to consider Google Keep or some other note App. Ive got far too much info to risk.

I downloaded this onto my nook tablet a few years ago, put a password on my notes and forgot the password after a while.My point is, there was no backup password or way to get to my notes.Im downloading this new version bc -past lack of backup security aside- it was a good app that did what it was supposed to.if a little too well.

Bought a new phone. No way to backup and restore so was forced to buy cloud service. Cloud service crashed the app so I can't sync. They hide the data so you have to pay for the cloud service, and then the cloud service doesn't work. I did a Google search. Many people are experiencing the same thing. Mark/Space Inc. doesn't answer support calls. Final analysis - this is the worst product you can use!

Discovered FLIQ NOTES to be great second choice to GOOGLE DOCS. Like a new clean place sometimes to think thru. BLACK SCREEN IS GREAT! Wish you had more backup n sync options as yours is not useful in my case. Would be concerned about investing too much info at present without backup. Overall, love using it!

Went to open app and it keeps stopping. I reinstalled app so I could backup through the cloud. Opened reinstalled app and signed in to get back up from cloud, which I paid $9.99 for, and it locks up again. Don't have anything to do with this app!

ORIGINAL REVIEW 6/1/15. I have been using Fliq notes for years , and, recently, subscribed to the Fliq Cloud, to sync my notes over 3 devices. I was so pleased with the app that I kept copious important notes on it. BUT, ever since my Samsung GS5 updated to android 5.0, the app crashes after sign-in to Fliq Cloud.. "UNFORTUNATELY FLIQ NOTES HAS STOPPED." Forces an uninstall/reinstall and then opens to a BLANK NOTE PAD with no access to my previous notes . I AM HORRIFIED TO FIND OUT THAT MANY HERE HAVE REPORTED THIS PROBLEM OVER THE LAST WEEKS TO MONTHS WITH NOTHING RESOLVED AND NO RESPONSE HERE FROM MARKSPACE . This is the first time I have reviewed an app and am driven to write a negative review since I have been denied access to my saved work. UPDATED 7/20/15: NO FIX INTENDED! NO CLOUD ACCESS AFTER 5.0 UPDATE! Email from Markspace states they are not directing resources to this issue. I am blocking 5.0 Lollipop updates to my tablets to keep access to my notes, temporarily until I find a satisfactory notepad replacement. It is shameful that Markspace is still selling cloud subscriptions with NO DISCLOSURE that it is incompatible with Android 5.0 devices.

Fliq Notes is great! One thing though... Let's say your phone or tablet or whatever was being a pain and erased everything. What if you had something super important on it. How would you get it back? Don't get me wrong I LOVE Fliq Notes. But that would be very usefull. Other than that. I LOVE IT!!!!!

Loved the app but when I tried to use the cloud services it stopped working. Paid $10 for it and now it's useless. Went through reviews and noticed this problem being reported as far back as June of last year. This is ridiculous.

About the only thing I would change, is to have a cursor moving key on the keyboard. Other than that, this app is great! I can select text from a website, copy it to the clipboard, then paste it into a new document in Fliq Notes. After this I can edit and my changes are automatically saved.

Ive been using this app (along with its sister app, "fliq tasks") for several yrs. Have been so happy with the TRUSTWORTHINESS of the sync capability that I recorded every single good idea or task Ive ever had using these apps instead of trusty paper. Now, on S5 with Android 5.0, both apps crash when logging into cloud sync... UPDATE: They did fix problem and within fair amount of time. I give them credit for that! Still think $10/yr per app is pricey, but Ill continue use as long as performance is smooth!

I set the order for my notes by name, but when I use the stack widget, it won't order them that way. I admit I'm being OCD, but this drives me crazy.

Used it for a long time even through phone upgrades but my latest upgrade to Galaxy S5 it failed. Every time I install then try to link to my Cloud backup it crashes. Sent reports over 2 month period they still haven't fixed it.

I like app but my anti virus keeps saying application is a threat on my tablet and phone. I'll probably remove app and pick other notepad app

Have written Mark/Space twice about this issue without response.

It was fine before I purchased the subscription. Now all my data is gone. What was the point in getting the subscription if it would delete everything? Everyone I open it to enter my cloud info it closes. Wares of money

The app does not open since I updated my phone to android 5.0.1. It was definitely a 5 star app before the update. Hopefully the issue is resolved soon so I can access all my notes.
