I can't respond directly to comments people make about the app but I feel I need to provide some clarity.
Mark contacted me at 11:25pm on Saturday Oct. 6th. I replied to his email at 8:50am on Sunday Oct. 7th. I heard nothing for a week. He then emailed me at 12:01pm on Saturday Oct. 13th and posted the review of the app saying I don't reply to emails at 12:13pm.
I've worked with every single person who has contacted me. I believe I have kept most people happy. In fact I believe I had already fixed this particular problem but he didn't give me a chance to tell him that.

Hockey Stat Tracker tracks shots - saves, missed, blocked, post and goals and whether it was a Power Play, Short Handed or Even Strength. The player that takes the shot, the goalie and any assists are also tracked. You even have the ability to handle +/-.
Hockey Stat Tracker allows you to create Seasons and Teams. Add Players to your teams – even your opponents. Games are sorted by type (League, Exhibition, Tournament and Playoff) and location (Home/Away). You can track multiple teams and multiple seasons, all within this single app.

Shots are entered by tapping on an image of the rink. You can drag existing shots to different locations, or tap on a shot to edit it. You can even go back in after a game and change goals/assists/etc if necessary. During the game you'll get a running goal and shot total. You can even rotate the rinks on the screen so that they're always facing the same way as the teams are skating.

After each period you can get a report with shot totals and images showing the shot locations. It also breaks down counts for the types of shots and gives game totals.
After each game you can generate a report showing the game summary. Pictures are included to show shots for each period. Finally the stats for each goalie and player are added.
Other reports include individual player stats for the season, plus team reports that can be generated for the entire season or broken down by opponent, location (home/away) or game type (Leauge, Playoff, Exhibition or Tournament). The team contain either player stats or team records. These reports are sent as PNG and as CSV so you can import into Excel.
The Hockey Stat Tracker LITE version provides you the full functionality, however it is ad supported and you are limited to creating five games. You can migrate your database from the LITE version to the full version once you purchase it so no data will be lost by trying the LITE version.

DO NOT BUY THIS APP - IT WILL CRASH Due to numerous errors based on the data base this app has really screwed the tracking of stats during this season and has made everything so much more complicated. I've requested assistance from Mark to help with the issues and I've detailed in the information to him and he hasn't responded. I paid for this app and it was good while it was working but now it's a waste of time and money and not worth buying.. I'm spending more time trying to piece together the information and data in an excel spreadsheet. I actually had to delete this season and last last seasons information in order to just use the app again. What a waste of time and effort. I'm going to invest in to an app that won't kill the season.

Love the ease of use the and detailed information it provides. One concern though. When I download the game reports, the shot locations all move to new spots (mostly deeper in the zone and to the right). When I view the same reports on the tablet before emailing/downloading, they look fine. It's just the .png file which seeems to shift the location. Other than that - Awesome app for any level of hockey.

This app works very well. Easy to use and understand. As with most apps it takes a couple of uses to understand the way the app works. I have no problem exporting stat reports for others (coaches). I would highly recommend.

Just upgraded from lite version. Thanks Mark (both). This app is great. I got it to track my son's save %, now the coach has asked me to track all the players. It does take a little time to get the app fully set up, as you need to build a skeleton for each opposing team, but it is all worth while. Nice interface, easy to use and the coach loves that I can e-mail him the stats (easy and directly built into the app). Cheers all hockey dads & moms...

I us this app to track the stats for his youth hockey team. It works great and support is great!

I just love this app - it clearly shows trends of players/shots and everything else including goalie stats, opponents and types of games. THis is just great to have in my hands and a report in the coaches hands at the end of the game. Mark has also just been awesome when I came forth with questions and ideas. This is the package when it comes to portability for the minor league levels.

App will NOT output a game report, so all your work is for nothing. Spent considerable time entering my team's data as well as league data, then recording the game stats - only to find out that it will not generate a report and constantly crashes. Emailed developer with no response. This is a total waste of time and money. Tried this on my Galaxy Note with stock ICS as well as several custom ROMS (including Jelly Bean). 0 stars, if I could. Samsung Galaxy Note Developer did NOT address the problem (can't?) and he refused to conteplate a refund nor attempt to fix the problem. Buyer beware. 6 bucks? Really?? Pretty expensive app compared to what you have to pay for REAL apps. There are better alternatives out there.

This app is so good I actually took the time to write a review - and I NEVER write reviews! Been using this app for two seasons now, and it works great. I especially like the email report option. Would like to see the ability to host a team page online that ties into the app where parents and players can check stats, maybe even realtime during games (think gamechanger baseball app) but that is a whole different proposition! 5 stars!

This a great app for hockey coaches. Keep track of all your players' stats very easily: shots on net, shots missed, goals, assists, short-handed and power-play goals, goalie save percentages all at a touch of the screen. If you want, you could have the "budding-in, know-all and don't-coach" parent keep his comments to himself during the game by having him use this app during a game! Once the game is over, you could send a copy to the other coaches right away to prepare for the next practice. The creator is very helpful and quick to respond. If you are involved in any way, shape or form in hockey, this is definitely THE hockey APP for you.
