About Bloodstock

Established in 2001, Bloodstock has progressed over the years from its humble beginnings as a one day event at the festivals spiritual home of the Derby Assembly Rooms to what we have today, a three day full on metal extravaganza held in the grounds of Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, Derbyshire.

If they just cached the set times and other important stuff then there would be a use for this. But otherwise I may as just read the lineup on the site on my phones browser.

Great app. For the ones complaining that it needs a data connection - Download it before the festival and do screenshots of the lineup. There's always a last minute change somewhere but it'll save you the price of buying a lanyard.

K70%
by K####:

Requires a net connection, so worthless while at the festival...

Please look at a personalised running order with options for alerts either 15, 30 or 60 mins before the band is due on stage. The App for WOA has this and we found it very useful. Otherwise very good and the previous gallery's are a nice touch.

T70%
by T####:

As per the title, data connection required which will render the app utterly useless at Bloodstock.

H70%
by H####:

Not many features but it's got the line up on there, which means I don't have to waste beer money on a lanyard.

No reason it could not be downloaded and cached

Could do with offline mode, and being a bit more interactive,, like band selection reminders.

It works, but it would be nice if it would also work offline.

It's a good app which gives you the information you need. Could do with a clash finder though. Maybe some links to the bands aswell.

Good little app but it needs updating more often, 2015 Headliner has been announced but its not on the app.

Couldn't access the stage times as I had no Internet connection all weekend. Never had that problem in previous years tho, seemed as if something was blocking data. Anyway, maybe for next year we could be able to view stage times even when off-line, other than that it's a great app :)

Overall this is a decent free app. Gives you what you need to know. Would be 5 stars if option to set a bands you want to see option where you ticked them and it put them in a custom list. Other than that, great work.

Good start: nice interface, easy to use. But needs a scheduling function and to be able to view times without needing internet connection.

Excellent app full of useful info unlike that tosser who dissed it hope he's going V instead. Great work 2+half days to go, bring on the chaos

S70%

Shame it needs web access for see stage times as I've never managed to get a usable internet connection while at Bloodstock.

Great app to give you all the band details but would be loads better if there was an offline mode. Found it hard to get signal sometimes at Bloodstock so had to resort to print outs. Take a look at the Hellfest app for how to develop further. Offline mode, mark bands as favourites to create custom running order, it also alerts before bands start. Hopefully these features will be available next year.

For those that are going to have problems with signal at bloodstock. Screenshot the band times before setting off then needing to be online to use the app is no longer an issue.
