Of course its not perfect, kinda ugly gui, but come on guys, its a VECTORIZING APP ON YOUR PHONE… If youve used Inkscape or Adobe Illustrator, this is like a low tier version of that is MOBILE. Give this some credit. With lots of future updates, I would be willing to pay alot.

Interface is intuitive but is text-based and a little cumbersome. Dev was communicative and helpful but no updates for ages. So now it is not a competitor for TouchDraw or Simplector.

Works for What l Can do Not a professional. But I know how to use this does what I need it to do though l needed patience to figure stuff out like most programs. Update: crashes when I try to open a file I was working on!!!

If there were layers with lock options"inkscape feature" and opacities...etc Then it would be perfect in my eyes. It crashes when I click on "show/hide" under guide image button, however it only crashes if there was no bitmap loaded. Device: Xperia tablet Z

It has stopped working, out of the blue. Tried uninstall/reinstall but still no joy. The only thing that seems to work is the "Upgrade" tab. :-) Even at 99 pence no way I'm risking it. Sort this out, please. I really liked this app!!! PS. Been reading all the reviews. Same gripe: only the upgrade button works, and even after paying for it it still doesn't work. Oi!!!

Only button that worked was upgrade button ???? Why would I pay for something I didn't even get to try. Don't download this crap.......

The only thing it will do is allow you to upgrade. Once upgraded it still will not function 100%. No way to get a refund.

It's smooth, responsive, and while it has it's flaws this is still a decent app. I won't rehash what the others have said, but it does need a little work.

Dude u gotta add features from inkcape cuz its the best we need all features from inkscape!!!!! The other thing is the text! We want tons of different fonts!!!

very nice and small, a few quirks, but... UNABLE TO LOAD IMAGES, saving is ok, but loading is not!

It would be better if one could position and size by numeric input. Options such as by decimal as well as by pixels.

Frequently used buttons are hidden and not easily accessible. You forget where you found them before and spend too long trying to figure out how to do something that should be a no brainer!

Good app with good tools, not in development anymore. The random colour canvas is a bit infantile and the menu is primitive and unintuitive. It hasn't received any updates for years, and as a warning to new customers, don't bother to upgrade to paid since there is no added functionality or features afterwards. The developers have long since packed up and left to playground, so forget about bad ratings, it will not wake them up or bring them back. I've paid for this app in 2013. It's exactly the same.

Score lowered from 4 stars. Not been worked on since 2013. Unverified report that if you buy update, you need to re-buy if you need to re-install the app. Vector Artist has a nice start, and I am looking forward to future updates. Features I would like added are layers with a transparency setting. On the plus side it comes with many pre made shapes. Drawing is smooth, and so far very stable. I have successfully exported to Illustrator, and while quirky can make holes in objects. The app can also load in a raster image in the background as a pattern to be drawn over.

wait can we just draw normal instead!? ugh i know right i mean come on jeez it can do better than that what should i do uninstall this app or hate this app or reply or fix which one it is we don't have much time and you better reply to me at later on or tomorrow and 3:00 too oh well... uninstalling...

Perfect vector app for the on-to-go Graphic Designer. When you can't get to adobe Illustrator/inDesign it's easy and convenient. 5 stars!

Saving does not wotk, menus are terrible, loading does not work, than one pays for the upgrade (one does not believe that an app can not load files, and hopes that this is blocked in the free version). Hovewer, there is no change after upgrade, it is the same authistic thing as before.

Merging should not change the object properties like fill. Settings should persist. Would appreciate subtracting of shapes etc.

It's awkward and ugly but it's the only app I've been able to find that lets me edit nodes fully. So it's what I was looking for. I can't find a zoom or a way to select several nodes on a part of a shape to move just that section. Really frustrating not having those, but I'm still glad to have found it. Yay. Edit: found zoom. Can't find eyedropper, color swatch saver, or numeric color picker. I have to draw all parts that I want to be one color before moving to another color or I'll never get the color to..

I like to stretch out shapes. I just can't find the save button?

Needs a couple of extra items for tools, but apart from that it's brilliant.

I like the idea that i can edit the curves and manipulate it further once done but i hope u make this less cluttered and more user friendly make the UI similar to Sketchbook or Autosketch other than that ur in the right track. Needs improvement.

pinch-zoom and rubberband-selection are missing. selecting small shapes is tedious

Don't Understand. Worked great until I tried to upload a .svg file from another application. All I got was a transparent layer on the screen. Can't use it for my work. Sorry I paid for it.

The controls are pretty agonising to use, just moving about once zoomed in seems impossible.

I've bought the app just for support the developer. In other way, the app has a lot of crashes and bugs.

I've used an IBM5080 running CADAM; so with no user manual it only took me about 20 button presses to realize what nice logic this app has built into it. The SVG output is primo, too.

Interface is a bit complex but it makes SVGs. Can't complain.

I've tried other vector drawing apps, this is one of the best for Android as regards functionality. Great potential. Took less than 2 seconds to download and is great for begging digital artist/graphic designers <3

The app is quite good. I'm dropping my rating since we haven't seen any updates for over a year. The donate option adds nothing except hiding the donate button. Of all the vector apps on the play store this one is the most promising, however.

I don't like each time I load a project, I have a different color in my draw; to change the color; to change my page setting and my background not fit with my drastique. Please, fix it. After that, I will give you 5 stars. (Tablet 7" Freelander PD10 Android 4.03)

Not easy to use as it has a lot of settings. I can only find color picker for background. I wish I could find a simple to use editor that actually has everything in 1 place. This has a lot of sub editors inside other editors. Ok I found color picker and all the other things. Fun.
