Snap Camera HDR for Android
I purchased this app as i liked the features. I was happy to find that at times i can shoot photos in raw format only with my front camera. Wish could do the same with the rear camera. My phone is ASUS ZenFone 2 laser ZE550KL. Also the raw photos have a green tint which doesn't easily go in any of the mobile editing apps i have. Can someone please help
Now I can use the flashlight while recording videos on the go flawlessly and record in 60fps, best camera app ever. I also love to be able to choose the bit rate and for me 720p in 60fps at 8 mbits is the sweet spot. Super smooth and fast recording with no low bitrate boxy effects, and at this rate makes calculating video size a breeze because 1 second equals to about 1 MB. I am running the latest CyanogenMod system on my old Galaxy S5 and this app is way better than the stock, they should buy it from you!
This is my fav camera app. After running into camera app issues with moto x pure 2015/ xt 1575 paid for 5 top rated camera apps. This was the only one that was simple enough to use out of the box( right after install) and has all the features that one can ask for. My fav feature is it performs incredibly well in underlit or relative darkness with just auto or hdr feature...Thank You.
Great application. Image quality is great when using Redmi 4 prime. Also, I love the option to have several preconfigured modes ready to use. But, I have 2 problems: #1 App crashes when chromaflash is selected #2 Videos are way underexposed compared with default application when recording in low light.
5 stars... Seriously. I have a Nexus 6 which has a notorious camera lag problem on Android 6 and 7 but this is the fastest camera app out there. Not only that it also has endless tweaking options. They are needed as the default settings are too light and too noisy but that's ok, you can change that.
Overall an excellent app. However, the panoramic feature does not work. It takes the photo and shows the processing but afterward it ends up being just a black image, so I end up needing to use my built in camera app to take them.
I used to think this app was perfect till I realized I can't take a photo withought auto focusing after every shot. This makes it really hard to keep the focus I want so I don't mistakenly focus on a part behind the object I want to focus on. If you could include a setting that would make it where the camera doesn't focus and just uses manual touch focus this would be the top choice camera app over Open Camera. I recommend Open Camera over this app currently now though.
I have to edit my review. The latest update seems to have broke a few things on my Note 4. Videos always have the recorded beep at the beginning, audible in the video itself, even with silent shutter. Also, sharpness control doesn't seem to work well at all. It's on or off, no in-between. Lastly, video bit rates are inconsistent, where it used to be. I want to go back to the older version.
Edit: New interface is a lot less clean: there's a big opaque stripe behind the buttons and a big new button that looks completely out of place. Much polishing is needed; for now I've downgraded to 6.9.
Utter waste of money and time. I installed this app in my asus zenfone 3 ze520kl, and therd is no any difference. Farankly asus zenfone default camera is much much better than this faulty app. Dont waste your money on this app.
When I opened the camera app it worked fine in auto mode my device is Xperia X with recent nougat update Sony implemented manual camera controls so I enabled camera2 API the app restarted then I got manual mode then I try to capture in auto mode it worked but after closing the app completely and opening it again now when I capture in auto mode camera app freezes this happens only in auto I tried shooting in night mode it works to make the auto mode work again I have to disable camera2 API
I have been using custom ROMs for a while. Most if not all have camera issues. This is the only camera app I found to work flawlessly. Thank you so much for the best camera app out there
Fantastic camera app. Only issue it has is it seems to have trouble when I want it to focus on anything fewer than eight inches or so away from the camera, no matter what setting I put it on. This is on a Galaxy S5.
Can't record video in normal size frame. I don't know why, but video recording makes something like zoom in without zoom out option. I tried and checked in different ROMs and had the same results :(
The app is very functional and has a clean UI. But there is no option to lock exposure or focus. Which makes it unusable to me. I wish the developer would implement those options. Otherwise great app!
Objects are not clear when zoomed while recording as well as playback. Sometimes there will be focussing issues. Auto focus doesn't work that great. Normal video recording is good but could have been much better.
One of the most, or even the best camera apps I've tried. The images taken looks really professional in auto mode, as there is no processing applied AT ALL to the output image, it's like taking a RAW image and converting it to JPEG, it preserver lots of details. Also has lots of advanced features that is only available in this app. A must have if you want to get the best out of your camera!
Unable to set picture 16:9 in 13M. Change this settings, I will give 5star
I have been using CM roms for about a year and this is so far the best camera which I have found for sony z3 phone. Sony does quite nice magic with their post procesing of taken pictures (stock camera) and Snap camera is closer (but still too far) to that quality than other cam apps I tried. Also, it has simple and intuitive interface. Good job guys!
Been using the paid version since Galaxy S2. I have upgraded my mobile many timea and am using S5. I think still prefer this app than the system cam app. The picts tend to come out nicer.
An okay camera app that used to be better but has become annoyingly buggy. Disappointed in the lack of updates - almost a year now and with Nougat out and "O" around the corner, there have been enough changes in stock and custom ROM's to warrant updates. I'm getting far more freezing of the app with Android 7.1.2 than I have with other versions of Android and find myself going to Google camera when I truly need a picture. Quality is as good and I know I'll be able to take more than a few pictures before having to reboot my phone to get out of the app. Nexus 6P, Pure Nexus ROM
Developers I would have given 5 star but, background bokeh effect like DSLR & controller of shutter speed for all modes are absent, add them asap I would rate it 5 star I promise, I have purchased this app so give me those 2 advantages also
It's really cool, special for night photography on my LG G5 (much better than original app specially in wide angle mode), PLEASE ADD WB/AE LOCK FOR VIDEO, and yeah, it have some problem with autofocus in 16mp camera mode.
Good app takes fantastic pics best macro image shots, sports shots I've seen in a phone, but a lot of restarts at prime moments and would be nice to be able to select grid view in the gallery by default in future also if I open the gallery from the gallery icon it always opens the camera which is obviously not what I want when selecting the gallery
I'd love to be able to quickly turn on/off time lapse and slow motion
Okay I have to say I LOVE all the features BUT a huge problem is that my stock LG camera that has almost zero features takes WAY better pictures even when I put the best settings I could on this app on...If there is any fix for the lack of detail please reply or update this app I'm not going refund this because I got high hopes that you guys will fix this
Very nice work bro...totally awesome but add screen selfie flash plsss... Then this app has no lack.. Plsss. I'm waiting
I love it
Edit: New interface is a lot less clean: there's a big opaque stripe behind the buttons and a big new button that looks completely out of place. Much polishing is needed; for now I've downgraded.... Great interface, and can use LG-specific features. I had complaints earlier because it was crashing with 'zero shutter lag' enabled, but that's an problem with my phone, not with snap HDR.
I'm finding this camera takes ages to load on my Note 4 on CM13. Some of the settings are buggy and don't work, but otherwise it's fairly stable once you get it right. Can't seem to get 4k to work reliably. Hadn't been updated for nearly a year and thinking of using another camera now.
I am actually AMAZED that this camera isn't baked into any ROMs... The fast picture feature is truly a work of art. The pictures are clear and its MUCH faster than even Google camera. It's my go to camera app. Only competition would be "A better camera " and its not half as good
Loved the app when it worked. Now it fails to function properly. First it started taking black and white pictures instead of colour, had to reinstall the app to fix. Now the photo editor fails to start or crashes. It will also not complete any action like saving an edit or deleting a picture, getting stuck on a perpetual loading screen. If they fix it, five stars. Till then, it's absolute garbage.
3- Developer addressed the issues. Still the stock camera shoots better photos. 2-Refrain from buying it. Developer doesnt respond to mails and doesnt work on bugs. 1- I bought this camera as I installed a custom rom and mi camera app was not getting installed. Lot of features, the best feature 'zero shutter lag' makes my phone hang after clicking a picture. If that can be rectified by an update, it will be nice.
With continuous usage, battery went down from 96% to 44% in less than 30 mins., the app crashed twice and also rebooted the phone, all while heating up my nexus 4. The interface in snap gallery needs to adapt material design too! Edit: Seems like it won't be updated anymore.
It is quite good for selfies as i can customise the volume keys to capture.. Image preview is fast and HDR needs improvement, over all if you want to try some fun elements in capturing buy it..
Enabled raw settings on my Samsung Galaxy 6s...This is the best app I have ever purchased for my phone. Raw images edited in snapseed are so good they make me feel slightly dumb for owning a dslr. RAZOR SHARP. Unleash the potential of your camera by lowering ISO and shooting Raw.
In general it is a good app and has a lot of features. Main issue is with HDR.. Which is not working at all, results are cartoonish. Also after some update there is a serious memory leak bug that crashes the app and enables do not disturb mode, besides that a lot of minor bugs renders it close to unusable. NEXUS 5.
The stock app that came with my phone is horrible, and has no extra options. This app takes much clearer pictures, and has many useful options. Amazing app over all. The only thing I don't like is the gallery app. That should be a separate download...
Until my photos disappeared from my album... For a while, I could see them in the main gallery but my phone decided to randomly restart itself for the first time in the entire 3 months I've owned it and the pics are now completely gone. Someone from the app was emailing me, but hasn't responded to the last 3 and now it's too late. All that I think needed to be fixed was the cache folder had gone missing but now I'll never know if replacing it could have fixed it. I wish it wasn't too late for a refund.

Great job! So far some bugs.. But full resolution unlike the other camera apps. That's hard to beat..
