About Bridge Score – rubber bridge

This application allows for scoring points in traditional rubber bridge ("above the line" and "below the line"). Just create a new game and add deals, providing a declarer, a contract, its result, and additional bonuses. The interface is very simple and intuitive, and there is also a help available. The application displays a score sheet in a form of a table. You can also switch to a list view of all deals.

Nice but...what about vulnerability? Useless without it I'm afraid, working in rotation, as many players prefer. Also, surely displaying a cumulative score for the whole session across rubbers should be easy to incorporate. Just a simple accumulator in a corner of the screen.

Hi - Can you make it so that a user can set vulnerable / NOT vulnerable? Thanks

Z70%
by Z####:

The app cannot be used to score hands independently without a means of indicating vulnerability.

X70%
by X####:

For rubber Bridge scoring this is a fantastic app. It accounts for vulnerability. It allows you to correct deals. Simply press and hold you can then edit an old deal. You can delete deals you can add deals this is a great app. It also has a score table that allows you to see the extra bonus points. I'm teaching myself how to score for my neighborhood group. I use this to double check my paper. I love this app.

Q70%
by Q####:

An Undo button would be helpful in case you accidently key in the wrong number of tricks or something. Otherwise, the best standard bridge scoresheet available.

Y70%
by Y####:

It would be even better if you could edit mistakes after scoring.

Two features which would help: UI tweaks to make it clear when you're adding/editing a match vs. rubber, and the ability to have multiple rubbers tied together.

I've only used it a little bit, but it seems great!

Thank you M.Marschall. Simple to use, perfect for a new player like myself trying to figure out the sometimes confusing world of scoring in bridge!

D70%

Players normally play two or three rubbers and these need to be shown on one sheet with the amalgamated scores shown in the normal, rounded manner. Not particularly intuitive. Room for improvement yet but better than many others, it has to be said.

The recent (21 April) revision has improved what was already a good app. I like the + icon for adding new deals and rubbers. I like the fact that a rubber is now called a rubber, not a game. One suggestion. Surely the bold line on the score-sheet should separate above-the-line points from those below-the-line, while the running totals of points scored by each partnership could be shown in a distinct font? I use Chicago scoring when playing at the pub because chukkers are usually shorter than rubbers. Also one can predict when natural breaks in play will occur, for putting coin in the pot for the bar staff and changing partners. This app has motivated me to write a Chicago Bridge Scorer using an IDE called LiveCode I recently came across. I currently use a 7" Allwinner A13 MID.
