MAPS.ME – Map with Navigation and Directions

EVERYTHING IS GOOD BUT BANGLA FONT IS NOT FIXED TO SEE THE PLACE NAMES. BANGLADESHI PLACES BANGLA NAMES ARE BROKEN. BUT WHEN I TAP ON THAT NAMES THEY ARE READABLE. BESIDES, ADD MORE ACURATE PLACES LIKE GOOGLE MAPS. I MEAN NEED TO ENRICH AND UPDATE YOUR MAP DATA LIKE GOOGLE MAPS ALWAYS. THEN THIS MAP WILL BE WORLD'S BEST ANDROID MAP BETTER AND BEST THAN THE GOOGLE'S. THANK YOU.

I recently upgraded to 8.0.1 and it runs smoother. UI looks better than v5. But for Offline navigation and routing to work, I had to delete the existing downloaded maps folder (take a backup first). After redownloading the city map, routing came back…yippie. Phone is OnePlus 5 with Android 7.0.1

It would get a five if only one could select to close categories of places to display. The map is cluttered with hotels. Once I have checked in to mine, I have less than no use for hotel names, now I want only other info, info that I myself wish to display.

Disinstalled. Wrong directions even in my home town when on shortest and most fast and on only main road way home....pushed me to make 180 degrees. Guiding voice in English almost incomprehensible. .an excellent app for Russian troops invading Europe. ..They will get lost. Worst navigation app ever experienced

Fantastic app for China. I knew that Google Maps would not work properly there so I downloaded this one before traveling. Best thing was, due to lousy WiFi in Chinese hotels, I thought of downloading offline maps of several Chinese cities I planned to visit there, and I was glad I did! Also I was able to use this app as a 100% accurate GPS several times while in China. Great! Definitely 5 stars from my side.

Great app for finding your way in the world. Sometimes there are slight hiccups in searching, especially in countries where English is not the preferred language, but this is to be expected. Would LOVE the option of topographic basemaps, or elevation data. Overall, it's an invaluable tool for anyone that likes to get lost, and then find their way back. Good job, guys/gals.

Been using this in travelling to other places like Singapore, HongKong, Bangkok, etc. And the navigation is quite good. But when I visit Taipei, I noticed that the map is no longer accurate and cannot find other places i side Taipe. Even after update the places is not yey updated.

Love it so much. Please bring more updates to stabilize the map and overall sir. Plus map locatiom where i at is not accurate where the blue button seems ran away and not at my location. Please fix that.

App doesn't complete download of routes so app cannot provide directions. Left it downloading for 30 mins and progress is left at the same spot. My internet is good and my phone is a samsung s6. Disappointing.

Very useless app and it shows only shortcuts and forest routes.. not even a single person is seen through the route.... Kindly don't prefer this app.

Quite fast. But awful UI design. Street names are not rendered, need to zoom to get them. Search results are easily reset and forgotten. App doesn't remember it's state after reopen. Too bad. Could be perfect app.

Streets not updated. My own street that I live on is NOT on map eventhough my street has existed for over 4 years and is not in the countryside. If my street is not on this map, how can I trust this to be accurate when I'm on places I don't know???

I was at home trying to check if it shows driving directions to another city .. could not find it. It only appears as dotted lines no road maps how to reach that place.

Used in different countries (UK, Hungary, France, Italy, and Georgia). It does quite a well job. Once you have the map downloaded, as long as your mobile can find where you are, it shows the routes all so well. Also the bookmarks work perfectly well. Just pin where you want to go, and it will tell you how you should lead there. Sometimes the colors make it a bit hard to read the map, at least for me as my eyes see in black and white somehow, but it is so good that I, who doesn't do reviews and make comments, make an exception for it. Keep up the good work, pals!

Can't download anymore: Error Code 492. Tried every workaround to no avail. Current version also not available on maps.me website. I'm relying on this app, please fix this.

BEST OFFLINE MAPS I've ever found. This app took me through 23 countries in one year and never let me down! Even in remote areas. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

App continued to freeze and sent me in every direction except where I wanted to go, thought it was my phone but did the same on my friends phone too..Have you ever tried to find your way around the Streets of Hanoi when most Streets look the same...this app let me down.

1. Visible address numbers (this is advantage of OpenStreetMap based maps) 2. One click and it displays 'compass' showing general direction and straight line distance to the given point 3. Easy control over downloaded offline maps, divided into regions under 100 MB each 4. It can optional use Google Play localization service... And it seems that Big Brother always know where you are.

Amazing app! Makes travelling so much easier, you can walk around anywhere and not be scared of getting lost! I recommend it to evereyone I meet during my travels

Draw over apps is a problem on this phone. I think I will throw the phone away again like I did with the other phone. iPhone much better don't have this problem

Has been a life saver for me at times! Works surprisingly well in remote locations, where you don't have much reception/mobile data. It's a lot better than Google maps for hiking trails.

This app is fantastic! I'd be lost (literally) without it!! Haha :-) You need to download the map (online) before using it. Sometimes it tells me to walk the wrong way (for about a 30 seconds) and I feel like an idiot having to go back on myself, but overall love the app :-D

It's an awesome app, but is there a way to transfer your personal bookmarks of places to a new device? Doing it manually is almost impossible...

The best free map I've ever used. Every building number is available, a lot of details that are missing even in Google maps...

Pretty good. Just a shame the gps in france isn't a bit more accurate. Does better than google offline for street names.

Crashes continuously after the last update. Unacceptable just before the holiday period, when people rely on this app!

Aweful! Used to love this app but it stopped working. Keeps crashing

Very nice offline mapping software. Major gripe is non searchable bookmarks

یه کم کند اجرا میشه و بعضی مواقع خود به خود از برنامه میاد بیرون یا صفحه سیاه میشه یا ابی مجبوری کامل برنامرو ببندی دوباره اجرا کنی خیابونا هم به روز نیستن یه طرفه زیاد پیش میاد راهنمایی کنه

The developer of this map supports separatism and terrorism . I will never use this product neither will recommend to any of my community. Shame

99% accurate in all the countries I've been to. However, it now won't let me set a route without updating all maps. Before this update I could keep old maps and it would work no problem. Please fix as I'd like to keep some old maps without having to update and waste space!

Cant find things im standing in Front of. Search function is completely useless. Could be a great app.

It shuts down all the time. I got this app because Google maps didn't allow for downloading maps and I loved it. Now Google does allow offline use whilst Maps.me is becoming more and more unusable, I might as well switch back to Google.

Awesome that you can download your maps to use them offline!! My tablet doesn't have a GPS, and I only have internet access via WiFi. Appreciate the fact that you're prompted to update maps when new ones become available...

Great for offline traveling. Highly recommended for any type of travel- camping or international. The walking navigation isn't the smoothest.

Dear App developers: for some cities in Spain either use spanish or catalan names for the streets and places. Do not mix the languages within the same city (like in Valencia). That's confusing. For example: "Carrer" is catalan. "Calle" is spanish. Thanks

It's a good app. :)) it can be much better if the search engine become smarter. My language is Persian and sometimes although my dictation is right it can't find streets and places and I have to find it on map myself

Offline maps means much mobile data allowance saved. Also instant zooming and panning. Could show railways and stations clearer though.

Please enter to app Persian menus and Persian dialog.... we thank of the me maps grope
