Walk with Map My Walk for Android
Pretty seamless. Good, fun, informative app.
Very motivating
First time using, seems like a keeper.
Glad to have this app for my daily routine!! It is excellent
Great Workout tool!
Honestly, I just find this app clunky and cumbersome to navigate. The side menu is long and it's not intuitive where to find certain features, and I don't seem to be able to add the route for a walk I did yesterday before I'd downloaded the app. Live tracking routes is fine, but I'd also like to be able to edit or manually add them later. There are plenty of features I'm probably not going to use in this app so I will investigate simpler options - I just want to know how far I've walked and don't really care about all the other stats.
Very nice app to track your walks/runs. I prefer to see distance & path rather than number of steps. Too easy to pause...I've done that a few times by mistake - but other than that, its great
This App is perfect for my needs & works great on my crappy phone. I would recommend it to everyone. It will synch to any other equipment you get as you advance as well.
It's okay for someone like me, who doesn't own state-of-the-art trackers. The problem with this app is that it's slow to begin tracking. Sometimes it could be as long as a minute, which means that the data it records isn't accurate. I'm not sure what the problem is but it's probably related to localisation.
First use is good so far. Exactly what I need. Could do with planning tool so that I can plan a route myself and calculate distance but it may be on there and just not found it yet.
My wife and I have been going on nice long walks in this app tells us how far we walked and how many minutes it takes us to do a mile. It really helps us set goals.
You have to sign up to use this app. I would like to see a app where you do not need to use your e-mail, password and so forth. It's just a big hassle.
I thought I would give it another try after been disappointed a year ago but honestly, it's far inferior to other similar apps. It's slow and cumbersome.
Its been glitching off and on for me...doesn't show me distance and pace, or map even with GPS on...I've uninstalled/reinstalled...no joy. Good thing I've got a Fitbit too to track for me...disappointing cuz I like this app.
I have wondered if the walk around our local mall was actually the distance they said. It's a little short of what they say. Thanks for confirming what my feet were telling me!
I enjoy using this app. Especially when it call out mile markers. I really get to pushing then. Lol This one is motivational and the graphics and data are very insightful.
I LOVE this app. I can keep track of all my walks and it connects to My Fitness Pal so I'm able to keep track of my calories burned and all that good stuff! I highly recommend giving it a try.
The GPS kept great record, the voice is a little robotic so I turned it off but other than I like that I can share my workout and save it to see progression.
Great app, seems to be pretty accurate and far more reliable than Endomondo which used turn itself off on a regular basis. Perfect for what I use it for, dog walks and trips to Snowdon, Ben Nevis etc.....
Works great for me for different activities. The road cycling courses are very motivational. It's worked well for me on hikes. Checking your workouts on the website provides lots of additional insights. It's been getting better with the updates too.
Good app for encouraging you to exercise. I used it for training to do the Camino de Santiago and have continued to use it when I got back
I am working in a city that is not my home. Using this app I have been able to walk my way around the city and not get lost. I can also plan time/distance appropriate walks for the time I have available.
The only reason I'm not giving this a five-star is I'm not an exercise kind of person and it keeps bugging me to buy. Other than that, it's pretty nice.
I really like this app because of the GPS tracking function. It's more accurate than the other activity trackers I have used which only count steps.
This app is wonderful for anyone trying to get healthy and push themselves. Easy to use, not a lot of bells and whistles. That's what I want when I just want to walk!
I like that it keeps track of my nightly walks around my neighborhood. In my neighborhood there is a lot of dead end streets I like the map because as increase my distance I can map my walk accordingly. Thanks
Is easy to use, love the fact that it tells me how much calories I lost. So I know my efforts didn't go to waste.
This app is great for tracking your own routs. The problem that I ran into was that I chose to do a premapped rout and it didn't tell me where to turn. The only way to follow one is to have your phone out and looking at it the whole time.
GPS is all over the place. Works for a few minutes, then gets lost. Although it could be the phone's sensor.
I enjoy being able to track my walks either alone or with my dog. I want to know distance, time, and calories. This program delivers. Thank you.
Really like this app, would give it 5 stars if it had the ability to convert the data to imperial. Figured out how to get the data to imperial, upped it to five stars
The app keeps great track of the mileage, but it is constantly switching from workout paused to resumed without me changing anything.
App is easy to us and syncs with other myfitnesspal appa making tracking excercise and calories burned really easy. Only quibble is in the countryside where i live it sometimes fails to follow paths, bit this doesnt really have an impact unless you really want to the metre accuracy
Excellent app. Just occasionally pauses too long. Found it to work better than the Samsung S health app That became unfunctional.
Love this app. Tells me how many Ks I'm doing as I'm going. Great for keeping an eye on pace during long bike rides.
Last two of my walks didn't have a map, just a red line on a blank screen. Once back to Wi Fi the app should fill in the background with a map. Am I expecting too much?
Not off to a good start .. when signing in .. put in birthdate ..& function starts at June 1999... cannot see how to get back to the '60s ! Without swiping every month in between..am I doing something wrong ??
I just started using the app consistently so still learning what it's capable of. I do know it stopped synchronization with MyFitness Pal and that's frustrating but so far I like it.
But do they need to open up 30secs plus, after you've left the app? This takes you out of whatever you were doing and back into this app. It's very annoying and inconvenient.

This is my first day using the app and so far I love it. Actually seeing it track where I'm walking and telling me everytime I've walked a mile really boosted my workout. It encouraged me to keep going.
