Used this app for years on my iPhone. It works just as well on my Android. My purchases followed me. I just wish it was easy to share notes from device to device.

Mantis Study Bible

Great program for offline bible study. Is has the full bible along with study tools to allow for Strongs word look up and options to delve deeper with full search capacity. Great for children and adults. Really configurable colors for text and layout. Very comprehensive.

I installed this app over 5 years ago for my iPhone. I purchased a Bible and a few commentaries, best purchases I ever made, they've been very helpful, all my purchases transferred to Android no problem, when I had an issue with my login, developer was quick to answer my email, I highly recommend this app

Love this app. Easy to take notes, and love the kjv version anyway.

Was a great app until the menu font decided to shrink down to .5 font or something. Never was able to fix that.

Had to reinstall the app after my phone updated to 4.3.

The Android version lacks the ability to select which books of the Bible to search. This makes the search tool useless when searching for common words like "Lord," since the app has a 1,000 search hit limit. I have contacted support repeatedly for over a year and get nothing but empty promises. I would have given 5 stars if not for that glaring problem. Disappointing.

I used to have this on my iPhone for years and now I have switched to android this app just isn't the same please fix and I will rate five stars

I had this bible app on my iPhone for 6 years , and i payed for two different versions it was a great study bible. But this Android app is disgracefully poor. Mantis must not care to provide the android users with a quality study bible.

Hard to understand.

Let me say this, this was the best App ever, but after Android update to Kit-Kat it won't even open. I'm using Nexus 7. Never had a problem till now. Please fix as this was the app I use on a daily basis, and I need it for spiritual growth.. Thnaks for the update now working as of Tuesday the 26 of Nov, 2013. I love this app and plan on buying some more addtions to my current aplications. I think I want the reformation bible notes by Rc Sproul to round out my commintaries. Looking forward to a long self life for this app.

Mantis is absolutely great on my iPod touch. It is virtually bug-free and has many more options than the android version. If we can transfer those aspects to this app, it would be great!!

If you compare this app with almost all the other bible apps in the android market you'll notice that this app charges quite a price for even the free bibles,commentaries and books that are free in all the other bible apps. To make things worse; the addons are also more spendy than all the other competitors.I didn't find the interface in any way superior to other android bible apps. Mantis started as an apple app, so my guess is that apple is relying on name brand recognition. But in the android market where open source creates more competition and more affordability, apple is going to have to adjust their strategy a bit. If your looking for an indepth bible app that provides a bunch of free tools like no other, try cadrebible or better yet bible-discovery. Both of these are advanced in features and mostly free. Can't beat that.

the iPod version of this is better but this is great too, if they would only sale the books and commentary for $1 or $2 apiece. Buy the WORD and sale it not.

Was pleased to see this on android since I had to leave it behind on my old I phone but once all commentaries and bibles were transferred it only seems to crash. Real shame

No dramas at hall

Simpel but filled with all you need. Cross platform as I just moved from my iPhone to my new note 2. All notes and books moved with me. Support is also awesome. They mostly answer and fix the problem or question within 30 minutes. Thank you

this was my favorite bible on my ipod. but it errors out trying to load my backed up notes. wont download kjv bible. cant view the bible. looking forward to an update. its not usable right now. 3 stars because it is so great on ios.

Very disappointed this app doesn't work on my Galaxy Tab 2. It downloaded and I downloaded several Bibles but it just crashes if I try to open any of the Bibles.

Although my favorite Bible app, it's not without its flaws. I've found that Scripture sometimes cannot be highlighted if it contains an asterisk, and Scripture that can be highlighted with an asterisk cannot be changed to another color. The error message I receive is "Error: invalid selection range". While this is annoying, I deal with it. The features/upgrades available for purchase lean on the pricey side, also. $19.99 for a NKJV is a bit much, I think. Besides those points, this is a great app.

Not good back ground on study book when you open study program!!!!
