Bookari Free Ebook Reader

I liked this very much when this was Manatano reader and not Bookari. I hate the new layout. Ever since it became Bookari, the interface is cofusig and messy, the app is buggy and laggy.. I just didn't want to move my ebooks to another app but I am actually considering to.

I'd probably love this app, but it continually crashed, beginning with book #2, minutes after I installed it. Sorry, I can't commit to an unreliable app. Could it be due to denting phone access? Why does it need to know who I'm talking to? NOT!

Why would I need an app that is so bulky and can only read epub and pdf?? Ebook readers which are 1/5th in size of this space hog supports more book formats and has better features and personalization options.

Nice interface and functionalities. Works well for borrowing ePUB from online libraries using Adobe Digital Editions DRM. A few issues however : (1) full text search in book does not work ; (2) my notes (unlike highlights) regularly disappear :-( It is a pity because the notes export function is otherwise helpful.

This is a good e-reader overall, but there are some minor bugs and glitches at least on the free version (turning pages and text selection has serious issues using the reading mode, etc). Also there could be an option to change text and background color on the free version as a grey type background feels much smoother for the eye than plain night mode.

Last update fixed crashing and it runs smoothly now...getting accustomed to new UI and I quite like it, though I'd still prefer that long press on the book gives details instead of clicking on 3 dots on the side. If you're not careful when you try to click on them you accidentally click on the scroll line, since they're right next to each other, and that's pretty annoying. Kudos for bookshelf syncing across devices.

When this app was Mantano reader I bought the paid version and now that the app is Bookari I'm back to the free version (whats going on?). I like the format of the reader but it is really annoying that the reader keeps crashing. Then the icon will disappear from the screen so have to place it back on again just to go through the prosses again. I have contacted Bookari help and received no response.

Used to work fine, now got some problem with the listing. At the left sidebar it wrote 324 books, but when i click on it only 4 books shown. Now when i try to add books, none of tje books got uplosded. Right now there's only 2 books left in my library..wth

It's a solid app with many useful features, but the layout needs work. The options tab on the bottom covers the last word or two on a page, same with the page counter. Otherwise? Pretty good.

Old version Mantano reader was better. Physical volume buttons turn pages? Very bad idea.

No option to show books by folder. It's not enough to have a good reader. Good shelf display is essential. Uninstalled.

What a piece of crap. 'Collect personal data' on by default - I skimmed the EULA and didn't spot that little gem. I can't even "manually open" an Epub stored on the SD. I'm not interested in the synchronisation or bizarre stores. Uninstalling.

Lost ALL my books and notes in the most recent update. All of them. I'm dying. It took me AGES to read through the books and mark out all the notes and highlights, and now it's all gone. It's all gone.

I already purchase it. Now I have changed my phone and now it wants me to pay again to use purchased version

I used to love this when it was Mantano, but I don't like the Bookari update, but I had lots of annotated books, so I kept it. Recently it updated automatically and I lost dozens of annotated books. BEWARE!!! I'm now searching for a better e-reader

I use this for reference books and it can be a little slow, lagging and getting confused when linking to and fro in a publication.

I have found this app to be easy to use. Download books with ease and to be able to find what you have downloaded. I would recommend this to anyone.

Extremely easy to use and pretty fast compare to other apps I 've used. I like the look n' feel also. Keep up the good work

The interface got worse and worse. I miss the old version.

Best app for epub so far. I bought the premium version just because I'm grateful to the developers. Great job guys.

Please an update is really needed, I can't access my text to speech setting
