I really like this app but when you changed it it messed up the highlighting. Could you PLEASE fix the highlighting. Please please fix the highlighting problem in Epub 3???? Really appreciate you fixing the highlighting this is my favorite app it's easy to use and it does everything that I need it to do thank you????????

The app was working perfectly before the last update now I cannot sync boks across devices even though I have a subscription to do so. It constantly crashes and takes ages to start up. Until these things are fixed I cannot recommend that you download this app.

One of the best book readers out there. Just IMHO: if ONLY the engineers could resist changing the interface!

I've been using it since 2012 or so and it was the best reader back then, probably still is as I never felt the need to change. About time to give it a well deserved 5-stars!

Since the last update the app keeps closing down as soon as you open it. I have not been able to use this app for weeks.

from the beginning interface was badly design, making difficult to read anything longer, the recent update made it unbearable ..

Sync fails since November, 25. Got premium version with premium subscription.

After latest update, in pdf reflow mode pages not flipping.

Sooooo slow to scroll in a 86MB PDF...

This is a wonderful apps, it has everything a reader require to feel like be reading a real book.

I cant open the book, the "READ" button is gray

When this was Mantano, it was a great program, versatile and easy to use. BUT, it I wonder if someone has bought it?? I can not believe that those who developed Mantano are the ones developing Bookari. When you click to open it you are presented with a messy, confused display, and it takes you a while to figure out how to get to the books. When you get to your books list, you encounter the most bizarre change yet. It used to be that the list of books were on the right, and the panel with collections, tags, etc was on the left. They, for some weird reason, have switched it around. Now, the list of books is on the left, and the list of collections, tags, are on the right. This is opposite to the way every other piece of software works. I am now looking for a replacement. Also, it does not seem to be designed for large libraries. I cannot sync my library because their cloud is too small. I have a LARGE library :)

After recent updates bookari looks to address alot of issues that have plaued this app since it's transition from mantano. However the updates since Dec. 14 have broken the thumbnail view in the bookshelf so even if you sort the bookshelf by series, the books in the series won't be by each other due to other books coming in between them. It looks like rows have been removed completely. It is a shame since organization has been this app best selling point since day 1.

Ever since the last update on October 25th 2017 to version 4.2.2, I have been unable to download any Publications to the app, please help.

The new GUI completely ruins this program. Its now a pain to use. Please restore the old UI or at least offer the option to enable it again in the settings. Below is my review when the program was still good: The programm is top-notch. One thing that stood out for me is that the performance does not degrade when many books are on the device. Other program would take longer and longer to start up, but I have not noticed anything like that here. One flaw: When sharing many books at once over Google drive (for example). The Programm freezes up before showing the share screen. The duration of the freeze is proportional to the size of the items to be shared. Also there is a lot of file copying going on in the background, leading sometimes to a full harddisk. Since the book files are already on the device I suspect unnecessary duplication. One nice to have feature: Identification of book files by hash value (for example MD5). This would remove the need to recategorize the books when the files have been moved to another directory. Alternatively it would be good if the programm offered a way of moving more than one book at once to another directory. With over 2000 books it is a job of hours in either case right now.

Having problems reading PDF files. Some pages are darkened and adjusting the display has no effect. Maybe future updates will fix this problem

It's a good app. I like it.

Sadly this app is no longer the highly efficient organised reader it used to be and seems to me to get worse with each update. It annoys me so much now I really can't use it any more. Even something as basic as author or series sort and display no longer works. I am really disappointed.

Loved this app for years, but latest update totally ruins the user interface. Ugly colors, odd layout (who puts categories on the right, details on the left?), confusing controls. (Took me best part of an hour to figure out how to get from HOME screen to main BOOKS list.) Still very powerful, but would not recommend (especially to a novice) unless/until UI is restored to previous elegance. If it's not broke, for pity's sake, don't screw it up!

App works fairly well but now on my Samsung the toolbar is not visible on the bottom in portrait mode, my preferred way of reading. Developer assistance seems non-existent even for paid version as I contacted them three times with this issue and a couple others including inability to sign in to my account and begged them to respond and I have as yet to hear from them. So, bottom line, you are on your own. Hope your luck is better than mine!!

Three stars instead of 5 because now that I'm using the paid for app, it won't close down unless I force stop it on my Note 3. Its icon remains at the top of my phone permanently whenever I open it. Very irritating and a waste of power. I also don't like that it closes a page when you save, and the blank, unnoted page is all that's showing unless you tap on the page again. I would prefer that the page I've written on come up when I open the book. Kind of cumbersome. I use this app often so these changes would be helpful!

The interface used to be really well thought out, elegant and efficient. Now it's just a mess, extremely cluttered, illogical, and, in my opinion, unusable. It's such a shame because the developers have wrecked what used to be an excellent app. Another reviewer asked if they could go back to a previous version - I would echo that sentiment.

Im having a problem with opening some of my PDF books. It is asking me to enter a password for one book which is accessible by other PDF readers?! And it fails to open another one which is easily opened by other PDF readers. I need urgent help please as I'm very dependant on my readings from your app. Also crashing down is happening repeatedly.. Since the last year this app is no longer functing good , and i am unable to unsubscribe from the premium package. Either the devolovers work hard to fix this, or it will be history..

I loved this app but the last updates have rendered it almost unusable. It doesn't open half the time and when it does, it hangs when it opens the book, or books aren't found or bookmarks forgotten. What's worse is that there is ni response to any comments on here by the developer.

Still has some glitches and corruption on pdf magazines which vanish when using a different reader. Still the best all round package to combine external sites and multi device support. So near to perfection but still a long way to go

Upgraded to get rid of the ads and to support the product, but it won't sign into my account via Google. So it hasn't synced my details or book covers. Very disappointed.

Although this app has language translation dictionaries, the one that I need is not listed. I need and would love for this app to have a Brazilian Portuguese - English translation dictionary. Can someone make this happen? Please?

I purchased this product to put annotations in my book files. Everything worked wonderfully since recently, my highlights and notes started to dissapear, highlights randomly getting placed in different lines, showing wrong notes, it is just a mess. Good thing I made a back up sheet of my notes. I think one of the recent updates messed the apps database or something. Such a shame, this was my go to app and used it everyday.

Change my device and now i am getting an error when i try to connect with google or facebook to sync my books... Nothing happen.

I've tried many readers until I finally discovered Mantano's. It's definitely the best one so far. Only two things could be improved though: the annotation tool could function like the highlight tool, affecting the real pages (similar to Repligo Reader) without the need to save/open a "cloned" page to keep the changes; and the browser could have an interface similar to the collections library, in a way that I could use the folder structure my files are arranged in, without getting lost in all that Android nonsense... Anyway, I'm looking forward to these improvements. Keep up the good work! Sadly, it is not what it used to be...

What happened.!!?? It wasn't broke,! I used to love it. I signed on and can't find anything. It's so confusing. Books overlap, menu switched to opposite side, why? Can I remove the upgrade?

It's just ridiculous. You are fixing one bug, while introducing another couple. Now I can't even edit the authors list of a book properly. Time to get another reader, I guess.

God only knows why you people wanted to ruin a perfectly good program! Is it possible to download any previous versions? If not I will be uninstalling and looking elsewhere.....!!!

Almost perfect, only thing that still drives me bat shut crazy is, after all these versions it STILL doesn't offer the option to save your login credentials when adding your own Calibre Server to the bookstores. You have to manually re-enter them every app launch. All the other popular readers save them.

Since being updated the reader has become very laggy. Now the reader hangs if you come back into the app with a book open. Very poor quality app

love REFLOW mode but it's buggy as sometimes pages cannot be turned and images problem.also we can only start tts from starting of page ,not from our choice of paragraph., no sound or pitch control of speed control in tts. Hope you'll add these soon. Ty

Used to be good. Now its bad. With the last version I can't even read ebooks.

Really hits home how rubbish Amazon's Kindle App is every time I use Mantano. As a student, I try and put all my textbooks in here but every time I am forced to read something in another app I miss it.

This used work well, but now after installing in a pixel, the app does not sign in. Do i cannot retrieve the books i saved in mantanos servers.

I love the app, but I'm worried that, when I reinstalled it a few minutes ago and activated the Dropbox option, Dropbox warned me that Bookari wasn't using their new API, so come September, Bookari won't work with Dropbox. Is this being worked on? Thanks!
