Motorbranschens Tekniska Gymnasium är ett framgångsrikt utbildningskoncept som utvecklats i samverkan mellan motorbranschen i Göteborg och Göteborgs Stads Utbildningsförvaltning.

På MTG kan du välja bland flera olika inriktningar:
– Personbilstekniker
– Lastbilstekniker & Mobila maskiner
– Karosseritekniker
– Lackeringstekniker

MTG ger dig kunskaper för att du ska kunna ta plats i en modern
serviceanläggning och dessutom möjligheter till en fortsatt personlig utveckling i yrket.

Utbildningens utformning med teori varvad med praktik ger goda förutsättningar för dig som är teknikintresserad att utvecklas oavsett tidigare kunskaper.


Det material du arbetar med på skolan håller hög klass. Det gäller både demobilar, studiematerial som utrustning i våra verkstäder. Med jämna mellanrum demonstrerar de olika företagen i branschen sina system och nyheter. Det gör att eleverna redan känner till dessa när de kommer ut på praktik och ut i arbetslivet. 


För att kunna motsvara en hög nivå samarbetar MTG med ledande företag ute i motorbranschen, som förser skolan med praktikplatser. Under din tid på MTG så spenderar du mellan 20 och 40 veckor ute på verkstäder i branschen. Som MTG-elev kan du också få ersättning under praktiktiden.

Motor Industry Technical High School is a successful education concept developed in collaboration between the motor industry in Gothenburg and Göteborg Education Management.

In MTG you can choose from several different approaches:
- Car Technician
- Truck Technicians & Machinery
- Body Techniques
- Painting Techniques

MTG gives you the knowledge to be able to take place in a modern
service facility and also opportunities for continued personal professional development.

Structure of training with theory layered with practice creates opportunities for those who are interested in technology to develop regardless of previous experience.

The material you are working with at the school is of high class. This applies to both demo cars, study materials and equipment in our workshops. Periodically demonstrates the different companies in the industry, its systems and news. This means that students are already familiar with them when they come out of practice and out of work.

In order to meet a high level MTG cooperates with leading companies around the motor industry, which provides the school with internships. During your time at MTG, you spend between 20 and 40 weeks out of the workshops in the industry. As MTG student, you can also receive compensation during the internship period.
