What are users saying about MGit

U70%
by U####:

Code editor crashes often on saving. Editor buggy in general, cursor jumps, text paste incomplete.

D70%
by D####:

A little finicky to configure, but well worth it. Glad I can pull down my org-ode files and take care of them locally with orgzly. Good combo.

A70%
by A####:

Best git solution I've found for Android. I only wish there was a way to set an external editor for files. The internal editor is terrible.

P70%
by P####:

This works great with github. However, when I try to access my private git server using a passworded private key, it always gives me the error, "authentication failed".

U70%
by U####:

I tried other similar apps, and may to say that this is the best. Very simple, handy, with all minimum necessary functions. Thanks for developers.

L70%
by L####:

Works like a charm. The only problem i have is the commit and push process it tales uneccecary time.

M70%
by M####:

Not any browse button to set local directory.

S70%
by S####:

did absolutely nothing on my phone but crash. literally. all it did when i ran it was inform me that it had crashed.

R70%
by R####:

Works well for my needs.

Y70%
by Y####:

Works great with ssh and key auth!

X70%
by X####:

Cool app. Is it possible to make the diff font size adjustable?

D70%
by D####:

Syncs git repos to whatever directory you choose. Easy to use.

U70%
by U####:

Kann nicht eine lokale Repositoroty öffnen ... Funktioniert doch, aber das Icon (Diskette) zum öffnen ist etwas irreführend. Ich möchte ja eine Repositority öffnen, aber nichts speichern

I70%
by I####:

The changes I make on a repo don't get committed.

D70%
by D####:

Quick, smooth and allows pulling to local memory as well as editing local text files - that last option makes it better than 90% of the other github apps.

E70%
by E####:

All it says is 'auth failed' even though I can clone the same repo on my Linux box. Terrible manual, useless menus and error messages. Edit: the manual and error messages are lacking but it worked once I figured out thay only public key auth is curtently working. The developer is very rsponsive and this counts for a lot.

执行速度太慢 等半天都没有切换分支 ssh-key密码仍然无法输入方法 我已经在 read.me 看到 有了这个功能还是无法用

D70%
by D####:

This app, or at least the current version, is useless as cloning repos doesn't work. I installed it's predecessor sgit and that worked flawlessly

D70%
by D####:

Not sure if I should give this 4 or 5 stars. It has worked well for me though so 5 it is. The only thing that it is missing for me is git status. I like the fact that it has an editor although best used for viewing files. When I actually try to edit something it zooms in, forcing one side or the other off the screen.

D70%
by D####:

Good app. There is one thing I've faced. From time to time it does not show commit details, just spinning wheel. Pressing "Back" and retrying helps sometimes, but not always. The same with Diff.

D70%
by D####:

It does work as intended, allows you to clone and do all things you can assume git client should allow you to. The only downside I found is that it cannot change the root of the git repositories after something is already cloned (it crashes). So take care and create a dedicated directory beforehand.

D70%
by D####:

Doesn't remember the position in a file when I lock and then unlock the screen. Otherwise good app.

Bugs, bugs, crashes and more BUGS.

Keys with passphrase are not supported

D70%
by D####:

Crashes a lot.

D70%
by D####:

The app crashed multiple times (use automated error reporting in addition to the email one!) and it did not manage to pull my repository fully not even once.

N70%
by N####:

I suppose it's the same as SGit was, but why move development onto this app instead, and inconvenience everyone who already had it downloaded? Was the name change really that important?

N70%
by N####:

Crashes more frequently than sGit on editing files. Off color palette. But now I cant use sGit without getting a message telling me to download the fork. As per your FAQ it looks like the only reason for this change is so you could put your company name next to it. Why not just leave sGit as it was?

H70%
by H####:

This works great with github. However, when I try to access my private git server using a passworded private key, it always gives me the error, "authentication failed".

N70%
by N####:

Trying to edit file crashes the program, so sadly not usable for my needs. So close though

J70%
by J####:

Unspecified exception on checkout. Tried generating RSA key; file browser broken (where is my public key?).

N70%
by N####:

File explorer always make force stop, and icon is terrible(RED border)

E70%
by E####:

Fails to clone over ssh

Q70%

Works brilliantly for everything I need it for. Love the log, too.

Thx for the response. I use your app a lot. Keep up with the good work
