Are they Alive?

This is an application that can tell you whether a particular individual is currently alive or dead. A contextual analysis to make this determination is made when a user enters a name to search.

Includes:

- Dead vs. alive status, a short biographical description, and a portrait image are given for all searches made

- Access to an interactive list of common searches. To access it: swipe from the left if on a phone or press the "EXAMPLES" button in the top menu. It is displayed automatically within the app layout if on a tablet.

- An interface for you to make death year predictions. To access: press the "Predict death year" button.

- A histogram of all death year predictions made. To access: press the "View statistics" button.

- View search statistics (e.g. number of views) for any particular person
