Manager Tools

Fantastic content. Listened for past three years, have been promoted twice. I attribute a substantial part of my success to Manager Tools. One app improvement request: allow 1.5 and 2x playback speed for audio. I like to hear the take in guidance in 10 mins, not 30+. Thanks!!

Long time podcast listener and now loving the app too. Initially I was skeptical about the value add of this over my regular podcast app. However the map of the universe and ability to bookmark for offline listening are incredible. Two feature suggestions for you all. First, a queue feature would be very helpful so I don't need to fumble with the phone while driving if the first episode I'm listening to ends. Second, I normally listen in the car over my Bluetooth stereo and have noticed that when Bluetooth disconnects (because I've turned the car off) the cast still plays out loud on my phone. If you could detect that the Bluetooth connection was lost and stop playing that would be awesome. Overall both of these are minor quibbles in an otherwise outstanding app. The amount and quality of free content here is staggering. An easy five stars!

I have been a listener of the podcasts for years and almost didn't download the app. That would have been a huge mistake. I am able to search by keyword and find everything I need. The map of the universe feature is the gold mine. I have the book and now I can listen to the podcasts related to the book. I wish I could give it 6 stars. Thank you. Will there be a Career Tools app?

Manager Tools rocks. All of the podcasts and shownotes in one place and on the go. Really good stuff. A must have if you want to be a more effective boss and leader.

Unbelievably good articles but the ability to bookmark a place on the ever growing podcast list would be nice so you don't have to scroll all the way down each time.

It says in app purchases available but I can't find it. I can only find purchases outside playstore... Also the app logs me out way too often

I like the podcast. Sidenote: Mark is is a sound - alike of Vince Vaughn.

This app does well. Could be improved with ability to queue downloads, which for some reason are called bookmarks. Also, have a way to log that you've already listened to a cast. Not everyone has listened to them since the beginning and only needs the last one.

The app is as amazing as the content. I've been an MT/CT listener since 2006 and have wanted a better solution for podcasts on Android for a very long time and this is it!

Unfortunately does not work on Galaxy Tab S which is a shame as I'm a regular MT listener and consider it a valuable resource. Hope this can be fixed in future update

I have been listening to these guys since the beginning. This is the one podcast I listen to over and over for ten years and am still excited about. I love the practical advice. My resume is sharp and my email address is straight from one of their podcasts. I can't explain why I like them so much since I am a teacher, not a manager. Maybe soon I will be both.

Manager Tools and Career Tools are my favorite podcasts. The knowledge that is imparted in each week's episode cannot be valued. Their website with the shownotes and forums is the best place to get good management advice on the whole Internet. This app brings their whole universe of knowledge and puts into an easy to use application that anyone can use, quickly, efficiently and while mobile. I highly recommend it to anyone who is or wants to be an effective business leader.

I love having the ability to have mobile access to all of MT's awesome podcasts. I have been listening for years and due to clunky nature of other podcast apps, have felt compelled to keep all old podcasts saved on my device(s) and after many years of podcasts, that uses up most of my memory. This app allows me to listen more often at a moment's notice, so downtime is now saw-sharpening time and the Map of the Universe allows me to go straight to the themes I am interested in vs. having to remember/search on topic names. Great app, which facilitates access to the most valuable professional development and reference tools that exist.
