myJAM - Social Music Jukebox for Android
Download our free app to be our DJ? Awesome, I'm into it! ... wait, it's not free to use the app? Intentionally omitting material information is fraud.
Establishments now implement a song request limit. Small establishment has a 5 song limit... 3 people use this app here and I'm 1, ruins the fun of listening to what you like.
Hate this app attempted to purchase a song with my amex and it keeps saying wrong info even though everything is correct downloaded and deleted!
I hope the asshats at the bar who put on 10 Clutch songs in a row get crabs and die.
Played Next Episode. Song stopped before "Smoke weed everyday." ????/5
What a joke!! Waste of time
The advertisement says "free" but this app is definitely not free to use
It was horrible stupid app
Makes you pay when the commercial implies it's free
This so much work and suvks
It doesn't even have a wide variety of songs. It needs more songs that are better.
I couldn't even get in
I can't get in to it
Its a cool app u can play music on it and dance to it
IT IS ASOME
Insta gracietobin
It sucks
Not Good
I hate it
I think it's pretty s***** that this app does not let you play as many songs as you want in a f****** night
It charges you money even if you just want to play one song
Use to be free but not anymore. 2 dollors for one song. Dont download this trash
Gotta pay. Bullshit kbxtreme pure bullshit. ... uninstalling!
Many songs and even whole bands need to be added
I bought credits and it dosent let me use my credits. Have to pay a doller for each song. Better fix this. I know its hardly new but when jukebox came out it didnt have that problem. Please fix it quick. Or guests wont use it no more. This is what my local bar uses so i have no choice to use it. If it was the jukebox then it would of been better.
The selection of songs is pitifully limited. I've attempted to add credits to my account in order to play some of the few decent selections that they have while visiting my local bar, and it won't accept any of my perfectly valid cards for payment. If they'd fix their system and licence more than a handful of songs this might be a good idea. Addendum to my review of your crappy app, I found a decent song and you CUT IT OFF!
Gives you a credit to play your first song, then won't let you use it. THEN wants a dollar per song? F#@k that! AMI Jukebox is WAY better.
I was able to get 2 songs through signing up, after that i tried paying for credits to play more music but for some reason it wouldnt take my card..i have more than enough money to buy credits and my card is working fine. O well
Gotta pay. Bullshit kbxtreme pure bullshit. ... uninstalling!
The songs it says are playing is NOT what is playing... it can not select any of the songs I tried to pick... CRAP!!!
Really easy for me to make requests as I have drinks with my friends.
You have no choice other than the suggestion picks which are slim and repeats from week to week. What's the point of having options. I've even payed money and had the song not played. This app/program socks and would rather have no music or at least radio with commercials.
Love the idea, and for the two songs I was able to play, it was great. Venues can restrict the types of music being played, which is fine, but there needs to be a way to browse AVAILABLE songs. I spent probably 20 minutes blindly searching artists hoping that a song would appear that I could actually play. Also, I tried to play a song that I had already heard play earlier that same night, and it told me that song was restricted by the venue. What the heck? Great idea, but needs some work on execution.
Works perfect. Sign up is instant. If there are "no good songs" it's because the venue you are in only allows certain types of music... So you couldn't request rap in a country bar etc.
You can only choose 2 songs per venue per day and almost all of the songs I wanted were blocked (albeit by the venue). Also, it took forever to load and couldn't find my location. Uninstalling the app now.
This app works fine and exactly as anyone should expect for a Jukebox app, It is important to note, each independent business who uses the music system that works with this app can put a certain level of control on the app which restricts which songs you are allow to choose. For example a Bowling Center is not likely to allow you to select "Turn Down For What" by Lil Jon if there is kids birthdays in progress on a Saturday afternoon. When fully unrestricted there is a lot of songs to choose from so do not be discouraged if you don't get desirable results but instead ask the manager of the business you are visiting to opening up restrictions on their music player settings if you feel your song is appropriate at the time. Of course the database is limited to songs that are licensed through ASCAP so even then you might be out of luck. That being said, this app work perfectly on a technical level and does exactly what customers should expect from any Jukebox app.
The establishment I use this app in have different play lists for each night so if this app could just list all the payable songs instead of making me search each artist only to see that none of the songs are available.
It doesn't store your "my jams" as an ongoing list. They get pushed off. Which sucks because then you have to wait for a similar song in that genre to get it back.
Errors trying to sigh up

Good app that modernizes juke boxes. The only thing I've noticed is that when you order specific songs, it doesn't let the previous song finish before it jumps to the next. As well the audio and video seems to get out of sync quite visibly. A few minor bug fixes which may or may not be something with the venue itself.
