PredictBGL Diabetes Logbook for Android
I am so happy using BGL Diabetes logbook app. It helps me understand my glucose levels and insulin levels. The multicolored app and large phonts makes my entries easy and accurate. I like the "How Do You Feel" entry because everything affects our glucose levels.
App is much improved since I tried it years ago. Carb ratio counter and correction ratio seem accurate. Only issues: more often than not, the graph is not visible through app but is via web page, however I'm not able to click on the coach bubble on the web page version from my phones chrome browser. Also, if the ranges could be as customizable as the dosing, so I had different goals for different times of day, I'd be set. Ooh, also, the reminder notifications to check after meals... I wish it had more of an alarm function, than a phone notification which is less noticeable. Great job adding to the app. A great alternative to Diabetes 360 that isn't available on Android.
What a great app. I use it daily to calculate my bolus and it is very customizable
Great app for managing diabetes
No insulin sensitivity levels for periods of time?
Where do I begin? A glorified web browser, that relies on a net connection. No net, no worky! Doesn't store data locally. You don't know what it can actually do unless you subscribe, so it's just another web based log book. And you can't actually get pricing info untill after the get an email address from you. Thanks for the spam. Lastly, they don't talk about the fact that there is no way to download YOUR own data, or even verify that they don't SELL your data. Honestly? Run, don't walk away. Run. It's all hard sell. I wouldn't trust them.
Extremely expensive. Why so expensive? Nightscout is free.
The app keeps getting better after every update. Only app I know of that is cloud based, has an insulin calculator, crosses platforms, and keeps a log book. Keep up the great work Simon
Best app for saving your life. Actually accurately predicts glucose levels three hours out. I have used for three years. It has brought my a1c from 14.1 to 5.4. Helps put you in control of carb ratios and correction ratios. No more blind doses. Try it it is worth the money
Looks very good. Could do with a break down on insulin dose eg bolus amount, +- correction amount = total dose
Very disAPPointed that I need to make an account before I can use this and every time I try there is a problem. Just want an app I can use and not one where I have to contact an administrator b/c the darn thing won't let me make an account. What a waste of my limited time!!
I filled out my profile, took an initial BGL, and entered in a snack I was about to have plus bolus, and it predicted my BGL would be more than double an hour from now. Seemed odd, but I waited an hour and tested anyway and my BGL had barely changed at all. It then predicted my BGL was about to plummet, so I waited and tested again, and still no major change. On closer inspection, the app actually refuses to save boluses, instead strangely saving them as basal rates. Shame, this app could be useful...
Got this for my daughter who is type 1 diabetic. So far I love it. Thanks!
I have been looking for this tool for years it does everything I want. Thank you.
This app makes entering fast and long acting insulins complicated.
Got this for my daughter who is type 1 diabetic. So far I love it. Thanks!
The hospital can't get my blood sugar low but I can using the same insulin.

Currently on a month trial and so far absolutely love it. I am finally getting control of my BsL and my predicted hba1c is looking brilliant! My last was 9.6 and if this is accurate I should be at 6.8 for my next one. Have only had 1 hypo and 3 hypers in the last week which is a massive improvement.
