About WebOptics
The WebOptics application allows the user to:
1) Calculate and view lens thickness, weight, and form.
2) Calculate spectacle magnification.
3) Compensate a prescription for a change in vertex distance.
4) Calculate vertical imbalance when ordering slab offs.
5) *Built in progressive lens identifier with 180+ of the most commonly used lenses listed, with details such as material availability, photochromic, polarized, fit height, drop, and layout chart to scale to mark lenses right from the phone screen.
6) Tilt compensation, calculate a compensated prescription to provide to the lab for a lens that does not include compensation.
7) Daily and Hourly UV Index, plug in your zip code and automatically receive the UV Index for your geographic location data provided by the NOAA.
8) Prescription Aligner to scale to measure eye wear features right from the phone screen.
The best feature is the ability to donate to Darryl Meister Family Fund, without him my quest for knowledge would not have taken the fast track that it has.
