SuperBeam PRO Unlocker

Since I updated it to pro version the app force closes on oneplus one..running xenon hd rom...First I thought it was the rom but it did the same thing on blisspop and cyanogenmod 11s and 12... Dont waste your money if your running a custom rom or if you intend to run a custom rom. Hope the developer is listening. Fix please.

Defeats purpose really. Over-air type apps allow you to send anytime. Also, it would be intelligent if dragging a file into the pc square automatically invoked send. Why should i have to hit SEND first? That's just basic user-friendliness to me. I realised it within 3 mins. Furthermore same should OBVIOUSLY invoke RECEIVE on the app, without me having to do it. WHAT ELSE would i be doing? Also, if you don't get rid of ads, I'll seek a refund - false advertising on your site!!!!

Easily worth the paltry fee for all the great features this adds on to an already top of the line app. It would be nice if they could partner with Google and make this a core part of the android OS as the default android beam options don't always work from phone to phone especially if it's a different vendor, and Bluetooth speeds are just unacceptable in this day and age.

I got myself an lg g2 recently and it was the first time I had gotten a non samsung touch screen device. Then I find out I can't use wifi direct from my g2 to any of my samsung devices because every body seems to be into really unethical business practices now a days. F those guys. Super beams tight.

I seriously don't know what I'd do w/o this app anymore! When these companies decided it was a great idea to take usb mass storage away, I was lost until I found this app (now even if I had mass storage back I still wouldn't use it)! From my Note 3 to my laptop I consistently get 30 - 50 Mbps transfer speeds, which is almost as fast as usb 3.0 (I have a dual band router & card, so I'm using 5.0 ghz wifi). This is a must have app & it's well worth the coin for the pro version imo. You can't go wrong!!

I purchased this for its claim to be able to transfer whole folders and subfolders while maintaining file hierarchy but it never worked. It just continually stayed in a loading phase with a spinning circle even after waiting for over an hour. Please fix this or refund me my money please.

When I scan QR code with my phone the "choose folder" dialogue opens. When I click on "chose *foldername*" nothing happens and the view is refreshed only. Doesn't matter if I choose internal memory or sd card. Please advise what to do. UPDATE: I can download files if I set my default download folder. Still can't download files if I want to specify different folder for each download without specifying my default download folder.

Shows ads after purchase. Why does SuperBeam show ads even though I purchased this Pro version? It's unconscionable and ridiculous. Also, the fact that this commercial app hasn't been updated since 2013 is a bad sign.

It's pretty glitchy.. I had to close out out of the app in between every different folder I wanted to send, but when it works it's very convenient. It's awesome to not have to rearrange a bunch of files back into the correct folders after using Wi-Fi Direct.

Great app, if you only want Pro on YOUR device. I had no problems using the app between my devices, but I can't get the pro unlocked on my wife's device. WAS a 5 star app to that point. Fix the problem, you'll get your stars. And your "just open the pro from Google play and you can send it to all your devices. .." total bullsh..

I gave this app previously 4 stars because i couldn't save directly on the microSD card and i requested this option. Now they made it happen, they listened! This is the best file transfer app over wifi and i love it! Now i give it 5 stars! Thanks

I am unable to send files to moto g users (1st/2nd gen) from my Moto X 1st gen... Tried with different people.. It always fails... Also the transfer speed varies with mobiles.. Any particular reason?? Please fix it.. It's a straight 5* then!!!

This app is the best wireless file transfer app I have ever seen. The speeds are amazing. The only thing I wish you could do is browse files on your PC or other devices using this program. Other than that this app rocks and it is definitely worth the money

Love this app, used, bought, and recommended it to multiple people. I have just bought a oneplus two and now I'm getting terribly slow transfers. Too slow to use. I've tried between my note 4 and Mac pro, wifi direct and via ac wifi. PLEASE HELP

Superbeam is a great app. I have used it for a long time and hence thought of purchasing it. Now that i have purchased it i find that some of the promised feature is not working. I am not able to change the default save location to sd card. It says the sd card is not writable!!! I am using it on a s5.

i bought several minutes ago, and it's doesn't work in my Galaxy core 2... need help please.... Even i can't find the icon, but it's downloaded and already installed... i have tried uninstall and buy it for the second time, and still cannot work with superbeam PC, I want my money back!

Downloaded the pro version so i could choose the transfer destination, which is my sd card that still has more than 20 gb free space. Guess what, no free space! Restarted the app, even restarted the device to no avail. I want a refund!

A great app for sharing files with others. Unless you and your friends are both on Samsung devices then you are using Android Beam/ Bluetooth to share files which is great and convenient... But slow once you start sharing files other than images. Super Beam is convenient AND allows for much higher speeds to share files to others. 40 minute Bluetooth files shares are shortened to three minutes using WiFi Direct and this app makes it as simple as possible.

I have to tell you guys how satisfied I am. I never regret paying for the PRO version and it made everything easier. I have multiple gadgets and it's hard to sync one file to the other because I have to wait from minutes to hours just to receive everything. I had it installed to all my smartphones as well as my computer and I told my friends and family to install one too. Thank you so much!

When I send files from desktop PC via your app to my android device, after finished receiving it starts again and send the same files again. I have to switch off app on my pc, and then after that my phone loose his connection and process stops. I have to delete multiplied files which are named at the end of file name with (1). Please fix it. In any case it is a really usefull application and I strongly recommend to others.

Superbeam is the best purchase I have ever made. I need to often move files & photos between computer, pad, & smart phone and the superbeam app is the most dependable, fast, & convenient way to do it . Once in awhile I start the app before I turn my wifi on and then I have to restart Superbeam. That is the only issue I have ever had with it. And, I am well aware of the fact that this is an operator error and not a problem with the app. Thank you for creating this app. I use the pro version constantly.

PRO version Update: The PRO version is worthless if the main app DOESN’T work. PRO version Old review: Highly recommended. Please consider a non-Java PC version. A terrific app. Highly recommended. Main app review: Photos transmitted are corrupted. After 6-9 months with the issue I DO NOT recommend the app anymore. I will update my review if situation changes. This app fulfills a useful purpose and is easy to use. Blazing fast as advertised and simple to set up and use. My only qualm is that I have keep entering a code for a home network (transfer Android to PC) that I use very often with SuperBeam. Some sort of "always allow with MAC address" would be awesome. But maybe that's a Windows limitation. Overall great work and hats off to the devs. Keep it up.

Are you guys ******* kidding me?! I paid for this and I still get ads on every screen? Shocking business practice. Have applied for a refund and will advise my blog audience to choose an alternative

I tried downloading 4.5gb of pics from my asus padfone to new samsung note 5. It keeps complaining that im not on the same network. But if i just pick a file, it works right after i scan the qr. I can never get the nfc to work. When i tried accessing the url, it started downloading, but the zipped file cant be open in my note 5

I liked the app, even bought pro, however now I have SGS6 and almost all photos being transferred end up being corrupted. This makes app useless. I figured out I can still forcibly open these files using XnView and save them as new files, but this is plain stupid. I can not however open files transferred with this app on a tablet.

Now this is a bad thing. I bought PRO version just to enable writes to SD card, but it says cannot do it. What is the meaning of purchasing the same. Can you help me in fixing it? I'll change my review.

I could restore the purchase but always got force closed on my xiaomi mi4i when receiving file from other devices.

But I'd wish for the PC counterpart to be able to show what files (with full path) are dropped there for beaming to Android. /// TN7.

I downloaded SuperBeam Pro trying to use better, and share wifi better, and it will said, if can't use it, you need to reset it too.Once you click yes, you can't refund or go back. Gone is gone, so don't waste of money. "This App. Is useless"

Works great. Very easy to use between android and PC. The android app has some issues that needs to be smoothed out though. The pro setting to save to a chosen saving location doesn't work. Everything saves to the /sdcard/SuperBeam/ directory. Also, when receiving a file the app doesn't display the Receiving.. screen. You need to tap the back key to bring it into view.

I had this app for a while and, while its not very fast in transferring, it worked most of the time. Now I'm trying to send something from my PC (superbeam pc app) the android app does strange things after scanning qr code: The app goes to the open from recents menu, I have to press the back button twice then it goes to the transfer page (receiving, 0%) and shows me error, the other device is blocking connection. This is just outstanding. Really useful and incredible app. Fast and Lite app. In-app design was OK for me. Still need couple of improvement. Run smoothly on my device. Awesome tutorial. Waiting for more updated! Great job dev! I'll Support the development.

It's hard to get excited about an app but this one is the real deal. Having different brand devices handshake has always been a headache. No more. It has worked nearly flawlessly for me. Now it will even allow Android and IOS to get along and share things. Throw the dev's a few bucks for making an outstanding product!

Was getting +-500Kbps via SFTP to files on same network, Linux host to Nexus10 via WiFi (cables and device recognition are a bit flakey for a direct connection). I have (and reviewed) the free app and decided to spend the $buck+change based on reviews. Downloaded the Linux version to the host and ran it. Superbeam kicked the speed up to 50Mbps. That is a factor of a hundred times faster. I don't know what the speed would be on a proper NFS configuration, but now I feel even less compelled to find out.

I payed the $1.88 to get all the pro features but still have banner ads???? It said it would remove ads...the app itself is awesome but this really annoyed me

As has been previously stated you can copy FROM but not TO an SD card - this makes moving files between devices awkward as you have to copy to internal storage first then move files from internal storage to SD card - also there is no resume on disconnect so if you're 20mins into a task and the app fails then you have to check what you got and what failed and reselect the files you didnt get, etc - such a shame on what could easily be a fantastic app - couldnt get a refund either!!!!!
