AstraChat - Direct XMPP Client

Good graphic interface but it doesn't make everything. Some times you do not receive messages. Some times multiples messages got duplicated (and it's annoying)! When you want to send an image people get an invitation to get astrachat instead of getting the image. Missing support of getting your own avatar. Missing icon to precise if the message have been received. Missing plug-in like OTR.

Great app. Works well to communicate with friends. It's easy to understand and also to setup. Unfortunately you can only use one account at the same time.

Is it possible to download pc version? Cause i can't download it for pc , even from official website. Help me please?

Good xmpp client ✅

Been using Astrachat for a special project and it's been perfect. The extra capabilities it adds on top of normal XMPP clients is amazing. After finding a bug in the project the team at AstraChat were quick to patch and solve the issue.

Nice UI.but need several improvement yet.

Latest astrachat has more bugs than ever before! It can't use galery, file explorer, doesn't show up when I click on the message from notifications... Too bad.

great apps, but Astra chat still can't work in background process. So it can't display notification when it closed. How i can fix this problem?

Screen lock and voice message is awesome..

The app is working well with my chat server and is also support with lot of modern feature such as voice message, image, emoticon and voip with peer to peer connection. Give it 5 star *****

"Failed to communicate with server." Login credentials are fine and work with every other XMPP client. Trying to connect to prosody server.

Simpele xmpp client no frills everything you need is available. Good!

Force closes in new install, every time. Didn't work.

Why am i always get a force close everytime i tap the app?

Works well with openfire for private IM hosting. Good job. Should allow attachment feature 2 send documents and other files apart from images. Calling feature is great. It will also b good 2 have some UI styles and colors selection in settings.

It is better than other but i don't get any notification when message received. Please fix this issue

App has a lot of good functionality when it's running, but if you move it to the background and do something else, you get no notifications of incoming messages.

Works well with Openfire but don't get any notifications when messages come through, hope this is fixed in the next upgrade.

Nice client, but buggy. Green dot for NA user. Yellow dot for offline user :-)

I have friends that send non stop messages, so hearing 500 vibrations in a row gets really irritating. Otherwise its awesome. A dark theme would be appreciated but not necessary.

Downloaded to test the jingle support and so far so good. This client does lack message carbons and OTR support. Would also like to see miscellaneous file transfer support, not just pictures. If those get added this will be my defacto client! Does not support video and therefore does not meet my needs.

Awesome client. It is very lightweight , simple, looks sleek and just works. This is exactly what I needed when I searched for a XMPP client.

Hi I am unable run this on nexus7. Looks like tablets are not supported. Why not? Can you please support xmpp & VoIP for tablets? Thanks;)

There is no group chat, no there is no black screen, and only the online can't put the status to away or busy. Dear developer we want more, then after we will you 5stars!!

This app only allows one account... that is not the standard these days and I will be uninstalling and finding a different one that I can add a XMPP account and my Gtalk account to.

Everything just fine, one problem only, couldn't find how to disconnect from a server...
