حدیث کسا

به نقل از رسول خدا( صلی الله علیه و آله و سلم )در بـخـش نهایى حدیث شریف كساء كه راوى آن حضرت فاطمه زهرا (سلام الله علیها) هستند؛ آمده است كه حضرت على(علیه السلام)، از رسول خدا( صلی الله علیه و آله ) پرسیدند: چه اثر و فضیلتى براى این واقعه از جانب خداوند قرار داده شده است؟ رسول خدا( صلی الله علیه و آله ) در پاسخ فرمودند: «قسم به آن‌كه به حق، مرا به پیامبرى مبعوث كرد، این حدیث در مجلسى از مجالس اهل زمین كه جمعى از دوستان و شیعیان ما در آن باشند، نقل نمى‌شود، مگر این‌كه از جانب پروردگار عالم بر آن‌ها رحمت نازل مى‌شود و ملائكه بر آن جمع احاطه نموده و براى آن‌ها طلب مغفرت مى‌كنند و اگر در بین آن‌ها انـدوهـناك و غمگینى باشد، اندوه و غمش برطرف مى‌شود».
