Texting While Driving

The point of this to me, is to let others know I'm driving, so if they text me and want a response right away, it's telling them why I'm not responding and it sends a nice reminder they shouldn't text and drive either. It doesn't stop me from texting, that's all on my self- control and responsibility as a driving adult to not use my phone while I'm driving. I love this app silences the texts and sends a response. Silencing the temptation is great. I could do without the coupons. Not a feature that's needed.

Love the coupons and this is a must have in a hands free state. Safety first people.

Needed this a long time ago. This app is so useful, Plus I receive rewards. I most definitely will be telling all my friends!

Super dumb. Only blocks you from texting, not all phone use. Has no way to know if you're driving. Worthless.

It doesn't stop the idiots that don't know how to drive anyway. But it will keep you from being distracted so you can watch out for the idiots. I like that this app sends a notice to the person texting you.

I just wish you can receive rewards for services in your location based upon your zip code instead of just the Portland area. Otherwise this is a good text blocking app.

By offering coupons, I think you'll see more people putting their phones down. A new "No Texting" law goes into effect on 9/28/11. It's a great time to end a bad habit and start a good one. However, displaying the coupons and missing children will likely lead to distraction from reading them. Find another way to get that info out, like an email or text message after you close the program.

In response... a cop on his lap top is different because they are doing quick checks, not engrossed in conversation. Also they have more training and experience driving than many of the teens who are dying and/or killing other people.

I don't know how having a track record of saving two children's lives can be a gimmick. Disregard our competitor below.

I was expecting a bit more from this App..Its an easily bypassed splash screen and a timer. I have self control and want to support this cause, but this is really a junk App. I can easily text by hiting my home key then text App . This stops nothing despite timer being set.Perhaps a feature that answers incoming texts with an 'Im driving...' ect. Slogan is better than a coupon ill never use.

Texting calling not the problem. 99% drivers cannot manage split attention AND unable to multitask. Ban all distractions? BAN BIG GOVERNMENT!!

This app did nothing for me.. I was still able to recieve and send texts and all this app did was put my phone on silent. Also the coupon i got was in oregon and i live in Texas... useless.. uninstalling.

I don't like how all you have to do to be able to text while driving with this app running is end the timer or hit the home key HTC EVO 4G

Good concept but kinda dumb. If I wanted to respond to a text all I had to do was hit the home key and I can text. the rewards are all pretty much useless. Not everyone can use these rewards. I live in a small rural area and have no use for any of the coupons. So don't waste time or space downloading this app when you can just shut your phone off and clip some coupons out of a paper. I see cops drive around on there laptops all the time. How is txting diff?

Just made the phone go in silent mode. A response was sent, but was unable to take calls during the process.

What a wonderful app. I have witnessed a family torn apart by a texting and driving accident. This is much needed for all of us.

Love the idea of rewards for not texting while driving... However, what am I going to do with an awesome pizza deal when it's in OR, and I'm in OK? :/

For me and my daughters this is a piece of mind. I know they are safe and being responsible.

For texting while driving, this is a must have. I'm glad they've fixed all the bugs...Great app!

Doesn't work

BS. Not worth even downloading for free. The ads and "missing children" are just gimmicks. One ad shows a 3 yr old boy and his description starts with his height stated as 5'1". Pretty pathetic and offensive. Shouldn't bother keeping it on the market if your not gonna update your product or base it on truth. Poor kids.
