Unable to stop alerts on Android

I subscribe to the paper version, which I love to read every morning. But I am in the road frequently and this app allows me to keep current on the news. Of course it isn't as easy to read as the actual paper, but it works. And occasionally I want to share an article online and this app enables me to do that even though it sometimes takes a little effort to find it.

Best way to receive Idaho news. I am from Jerome, Idaho, love all the information I can get. I live in Thornton, Colorado.

The news articles are not up dated like they used to be. I get breaking news updates and then go to the app to read it and the article is not there. It's just old stories that have been on for 11 hours. I'm going to delete the app soon if it doesn't get updates.

Hasn't been updated for a week. Same old news. Have to get current news somewhere else. So why would I want to keep packing this app around?

The app is pretty straight forward and easy to use, it's just difficult to find the information you want. I will get alerts about a story, open the app, and then can't find the story.

Thinking about removing since it doesn't have any local news anymore!!!!!

This app started out being really good. But now it has very little local news. You can read the obituaries, some sports, some classifieds, and some from the opinion page, but thats about it. Very little local news available!

Will load 1st couple of stories each day, then takes forever to load a story. Have Uninstaller, but doesn't help. 12/05/15. Now won't load any articles! Worthless! Seriously!

Even though I live in California, this has helped me stay in touch with what's going on in my home town. Thank you!

Not great but it gets the job done. Tends to use a lot of CPU in the background when you think it's closed.

Getting better

There is more obits in the top story's section than anything. Top story's should be news not 50 obits then 3 or 4 news story's. Then obits need to be in the obits section not news.

I used to read the obits all the time now there is nothing there! How are you supposed to know who people and their families are?! This paper is getting worse and worse...

Since installing the update, I haven't seen a single comment on anything. Hard to believe since there used to be lots of comments, especially on letters to the editor. And all the extra ads need to go.

the update broke this app for those of us locals that just want to view news without all of the adds. give me a pro version that I can pay foe that will not be spam city

Could use some catching up with the iPod app.

It seems like the content available barely changes from day to day or week to week. Wish I could browse more of the paper.

Same stories daily. Rarely updated. Also stays open

It would be nice if I could read the classifieds,that's the main reason I installed it,so hopefully they would do something about it soon.

Ever since the update it's just generally been very glitchy. Guess I'll switch to another local news source.
