Per iniziativa del Conte Achille Sassoli de’ Bianchi nacque il Golf Club Bologna e il 28 aprile 1959 fu costruito per merito di 28 soci fondatori.
Le prime nove buche vennero inaugurate il 1° giugno del 1961, le seconde nove nel 1964 e la Club House nel 1965.
I lavori proseguirono gradualmente senza volere tutto e subito, ad oggi le migliorie al percorso e alle infrastrutture sono state molteplici e significative dal punto di vista tecnico ed estetico.
Il circolo offre, oltre al campo, un bar e ristorante rinomato, diventato il centro di ritrovo della vita sociale del circolo, un noleggio attrezzature fornito di carrelli a mano ed eccezionalmente di sacche, un pro shop situato all’interno della Club House ed un ambiente destinato a meeting room, molto luminoso e con vista sulla buca 18.

On the initiative of Count Achille Sassoli de 'Bianchi she was born on Golf Club Bologna and 28 April 1959 was built for about 28 founding members.
The first nine holes were opened on 1 June 1961, the back nine in 1964 and the Club House in 1965.
Work continued gradually without want everything immediately, to date the improvements to the route and infrastructure have been many and significant in terms of technical and aesthetic.
The club offers, in addition to the field, a bar and restaurant known, became the meeting place of the social life of the club, a rental equipment provided by hand carts and exceptionally pockets, a pro shop located inside the Club House and a place designed to meeting room, very bright and overlooking the 18th hole.
