About Toilets in Paris
Toilets In Paris is an application that show all positions of public toilets Sanisette and those of the RATP transportation network in Paris. You can make a search around your position or a search by address. Moreover, the application can work without Internet connection.
The Sanisette contains a toilet hidden behind a door that opens when a button is pressed. A washbasin is provided as well. When a user enters the toilet, the door closes to provide privacy. After the user has finished using the toilet, he exits and the door closes again. A wash cycle then begins inside the toilet, and the toilet fixture itself is scrubbed and disinfected automatically. After about sixty seconds, the toilet is again ready for use. Since 2006, the access is free.
Please take notice that you must have a valid transport ticket to access a number of RATP toilets.

Limiting this app to inside Periphérique ring road means it is of meagre value. For instance L'Oréal HQ is outside the Périphérique, as is Microsoft HQ and also the business area La Défense, to name but 3. And I could not find the toilet supposedly at Solférino near Musée d'Orsay. The best solution remains find a café, buy an espresso and use the loo. Alternatively, find a McDonald's. Update, not all sanisette toilets in appear in the app either e.g. the one in rue du Volga.

Accompanying any exploration of a new place with new foods will be a requirement - sometimes an urgent one - to find a place where one can "make some space" for the next meal. That is something this app will help you achieve with an amount of dignity which would otherwise be in shorter supply.

Needs a data signal to show map, and only shows toilets near you, so can't even pre-plan while your at a hotel. The Paris superloos are SLOW. They takes at least 2-3 mins per person, which seems like an age if there is a queue. But least they are free to use.

Great idea, tried using it for our first trip to Paris but in practice didn't find it very useful. Would also crash sometimes.

This app delivers exactly what it promises. There should be more apps like this for every city.
