Magellan Active

My echo watch disconnected from the app every couple of seconds and the settings are kinda broken. I selected black and it made the watch white with black text. I selected inverted and it made the watch black with white text. Then it disconnected from the watch. Some settings would also not work, like turning on the send notifications feature. I turned it on, held down the top left button on the watch, and then the watch disconnected and when I reconnected it the setting was off. Also, I have to go through a pretty long procedure to re- connect to the watch if I close the app. Maybe I'm doing this entire thing wrong, though, because if I want to get a normal watch face and a stopwatch feature by holding down the top left button, it automatically disconnects from whatever app I'm using.

This app is a load of crap. It accomplished nothing other than wasting my time.

Just figured out why it thinks everyone's email doesn't exist. When you type in your email and you auto fill it, it adds a space bar at the end which the app doesn't accept because you can't have spaces in an email address. So after all this time it seems Magellan wasn't able to figure this out but instead asked people to submit their emails to the privately. So anyway, even after getting passed registration, this app is absolute garbage as it does nothing other than bring you to the settings menu for the watch and that's all it does. Where is the rest of this app like in the pictures? I am expecting some help here after paying money for this piece of plastic that doesn't do what it promises. This is what happens when you think you're not a sheep and decide not to follow the crowd and get a Fitbit, a Sumsung or an Apple and think you're supporting another brand, you get disappointed.

I got it to WORK!!!!!!!! OMG. Color me shocked. Maybe if I share what I learned, it will help a lot of people here? First, I'll start by saying that if there was someone from the Magellan development team in front of me, I'd punch them in the face as hard are I could. This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a product. Google really limits the size of reviews here, so there isn't enough room, so I'll be brief. After a lot of hassle and trying 3 different android phones, a tech support person threw a hail mary and reset my password. This should NOT have worked because I knew my password and it worked on their website, just not in this stupid app. However, everything worked after he just reset my password. Stupid. Shouldn't have worked, but it did. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I bought the Echo Fit watch for use with GolfPad. There were tons of issues getting this set up, but after getting it all to work, I have to say that I'm very pleased. The rating is reflective of the horrible process it took to get here which I believe earns Magellan a well deserved 1 star rating. Support was no help at all and ended up fixing my issue out of pure luck.

Does not connect to the watch (tried it with Echo and Echo Fit). Tried the watch with Runkeeper, which goes crazy when connected to the watch. The watch is useless!

Keeps telling me does not recognise email to log in but website has no issue. Terrible app

I purchased a magellan echo fit watch with HRM. I installed this app and its not working. It is really frustrating because its a nice watch but that's about it...what's the freaking point if I can't even have access to my magellan active account....i would like to have access...please fix app

Literally can not sign in. Enter email and password, looks like it is about to do something, then returns to first page. As a result it seems I can't use my echo watch at all.

Does not import data from Wahoo. Strange because the data imports fine into the Magellan active website version, just not the app. Why is that?

I can sync, but the app seems to consist only of a configuration screen. I can't get to any of the screenshots showing pedometer, etc.

This app only for ECHO FIT? not working with OLDER ECHO

Wow how bloody useless. My father brought this watch and it will not connect to his phone. So then tried with his phone. Nope still not working. So I've just tried with my phone. This is crap will not connect to my phone either. Have tried to different apps but both have this echo thing. Neither will connect. Unsure why but can't belive this problem is so on going. Wish I read the comments before my dad brought the watch. Highly do NOT recommend! Dissapointed 100%

I received the Echo Fit as a Father's day present from my family and I can't use it because the app doesn't work. As a company after reading all these awful reviews of your app why would they not fix these problems so they could give their consumers a good product. I will be returning it, this is a ridiculous problem to have. The watch won't work without the app.

Only thing that the Magellan rep can do is reply to issues concerning registration. They can't fix a crap app. Can't even connect my phone to the watch. Useless company, useless watch. Never buy their products.

I can't get any of the following to work. -Customize, Sync, and View your daily Steps, Calories, Distance and Sleep information from your Echo Fit. -Upload and View your Activity Recording Data. it just sits there as a watch. I can track runs with a different app while using it but I was hoping to trace steps as well. Color me disappointed.

Bought the echo fitness watch scanned the qr code, and it wouldn't even go to the website... Talk about upset....

Tried to install on my phone, tells me that both my email address do no exist. What is the problem with this item ? I see allot of people are havinyg the same issues. Waste of money. Tech can this be resolved?

I had to ring NZ support just to register which was a pain but at least I can get into the app.. However its laggy and doesn't always update to match the data on my watch, and I have to keep logging in. Also I don't get why the app has to be running on the screen or in the backround to get call notifications? That just slows my phone down so I don't bother with that feature. Good thing I like the watch so will just sync every few days to get my averages

The app seems to be out of date and doesn't work at all. Waste of time and money. Would never buy anything called Magellan. No respect for customers at all. Just to sell and f... Off. Idiots!

It doesn't work . The watch is useless and they are still selling them, stay away from this company they are not supporting the watch or app.

Bought the watch and can't even use it. Trying to signup and keeps saying email does not exist.

Was not able to configure any of the buttons or display any fitness metrics.

Doesn't work with nexus 5, even though their website listed nexus 5 is on the approved list.

Using with newest version of Android on Moto X gen 2. App opens but once I try to log in it just loads back to the log in screen.

Never loads and company doesn't seem to care!

Downloaded and will not let me even login! Also the watch will not sync to utility app

Downloaded the app tried to log in and takes me back to the log in screen

Got my watch yesterday, downloaded this app, won't let me do anything!! Won't accept any of my 3 emails...it will do NOTHING!! VERY VERY BIG PIECE OF CRAP!!

It doesn't work

Just downloaded this as I've purchased an Echo Fit but like a lot of other users I can't register so whats the point?! I know my email addresses exist because I use them all the time! Not much use to me if I can't see my data

Couldn't even register, said all 3 of my emails didn't exist. Couldn't get passed the very first step. Email support for help and no reply. I'm still researching to find a different app that works and every time I see this one advertised I want to yell 'Don't do it!!"

I brought my model : n448 about five months ago i had it up and running but it suddenly turned off i thought it was the batteries so i brought more only used it for about a month but it kept turning off. My phone broke so had to get another. I just found my watch so tried to download this app when i go to sign up it says my email doesnt exist. I than tried creating an account on another email it wont let me. I want my watch to work but without the app its useless. Please fix this problem and reply back.

The worst ever hurry up and fix it I love my fit watch but this app is the worst first I couldnt even log in then finally got it working now I can't even get my steps and that sync to my watch to the phone. Unbelievable. I don't understand why it not syncing.

I have a cyclo and that works ok. But no matter what i do i can't sign in our create a new account with my echo. Sends like magellan ate not interested In this app. Does not work even the echo utility is a flop.

Works well with only syncing tracked data. But couldn't managed to get phone notifications. Did reset and resync as suggested by support team. Music control works intermittently. Looks like I did a wrong decision to by this “smart fitness” watch.
