This is a free app download. Within the app users can purchase the current issue and back issues.
Users can register for/ login to a pocketmags account in-app. This will protect their issues in the case of a lost device and allow browsing of purchases on multiple platforms. Existing pocketmags users can retrieve their purchases by logging into their account.
We recommend loading the app for the first time in a wi-fi area.

Changed my review. Initially I thought it was chargeable, but have since found it isn't. Need to describe it better. Decent mag, with decent content. Looking forward to more in the future.

Glad I read one of the other reviews first or I might have given up pretty quickly. When I first installed it, it gave me a choice of "Preview" or "Buy"/"Subscribe", but after looking at the Preview the "Buy"/"Subscribe" had been replace with "Free"/"Subscribe". I think the app developer must produce this same app for other magazines (some of those of which probably charge). Sport is free and has been as they supplement it with lots of advertising. Great app to get the free Friday sports paper I used to read in London many years ago. Still the same: a good read on various sports (from a England/UK viewpoint). It has a lot of ads (but that doesn't bother me - it's no different to when they produced a tabloid paper all those years ago).

This worked fantastically when I first got it. Now it does not download anything, even after uninstall and reinstall. One more thing - when it worked it was disappointing to are some features of the magazine, listed in the contents completely missing and replaced by further adverts which are not present in the print version.
