Sherlock is a personal security app for anyone who doesn't want to go it alone. Send video, audio, and GPS coordinates to Dropbox securely and automatically. Send an emergency text with one click. Let your emergency contact log-in and see what is happening in real time.
Key Features:
***** Sends Video/Audio in Small Increments to Dropbox to make sure your situation is safe and locked away.
***** Emergency SMS System: can be sent from Volume Keys to not make your call for help stand out. It contains GPS location and the option to give dropbox login to your Emergency Contact so they may find out what is happening immediately.
***** Sends Location Marker Every 2 Minutes to Dropbox.
***** Toggles the Camera Viewer ON/OFF with one tap of the screen.
***** Silences all phone sounds while active.
***** Selections for video increment length and resolution settings.
NOTE:
**** Phones may need to be rebooted for hardware settings to take effect.****
** Sherlock runs the GPS file drop until the user hits "exit" out of the app so that an invader may not stop your
emergency location marker just by using the "home" button.
** User must select "use data plan" manually in Dropbox settings for fail safe transfer

This is a great app to use as a witness and instant notifier, it can get your emergency contact access to your situation and media, immediately. I also am in a field where i can use this to get news and evidence to a central hub with an immediate ping. The GPS drop is great, i just had to remember to "Exit" the program to stop it, like the directions said. I was confused at first, then realized that if i was taken captive or something, an assailant would not know to stop it, beyond the standard home key. Brilliant!!!

Seriously Needed!!! Especially with all of the Abuse and Violent social intolerance!! I just downloaded this. wow, what a way to have an edge on being victimized. I love that the sms messages can be triggered from the volume keys so no one knows you sent it. The screen hide and mute make this really incognito !!!
