Stupid Deal of the Day

SDOTD? AWESOME. This app? SUCKS! Does not allow me to change settings to set up notifications. So without the ability to do that I might as well go to the website. This app sucks. If you're paying more than say....five bucks to develop this y'all are fools. Of course, Bain is behind this so it DOES NOT SURPRISE ME!

This stupid app has saved me serious $$ on a couple things I needed in a couple of weeks of having this app. Seriously, this app is a great way to get the SDOTD on your mobile instead or before the pc or FB and to save $$$. Thanks!!!

App works well enough, but often takes too long to load or does not load at all. For Canadian buyers though, deals are not applicable. Manufacturers only allow these deals for US based distribution. Still a great gear shop though.

This app is great in every way. The special days with "stupid deal of the hour" are even a great idea.

They rarely have drum products on sale. It's mostly guitarist stuff. Put a cymbal on there once on a while.

You cant really doing anything with this app, what if i wanted to view other things that are not deals. Just make the shoppin app already, it would be so much more reliabile.

I downloaded the app because I wanted to browse deals once in while when I'm looking for something, but after turning notifications off multiple times, it magically defaults to on again within a day or two. The app is too intrusive and the settings don't allow you to correct that, not okay.

I'm finally removing it from my phone. Many times it pops up late (or not at all some days) and when it does it often (50%?) shows some "old" deal - it caches them and doesn't show me the correct one, so what's the use? I'll just use the old school website from now on.

It chimes that a new deal is available but when I open it it's the old one. If I remember I can check like 5 minutes later and it will be a new update.

Make sure u turn notification slider on in settings area accessed via the 3 line graphic at top of open app, no problems with my other phones but upgraded to Samsung note 4 n the notification bar defaulted to no notification

The basic idea of the app is simple enough but for some reason they can't get an app whose sole function is to connect you to the Web page for the deal doesn't work. I get the notification for the deal at the exact time but that's all this app is good for. I can get on the Web page myself no problem so I don't think it's a problem with their server. Can't understand why they can't get a simple app to work. If it starts working I'll change the rating, but right now I only use to remind me to go to their site

It won't load. This is particularly annoying when they're doing hourly deals. Gone.

Love the deal of the day... excited there was an app... but it almost never loads! It's faster to go to the website and look. I think I'll uninstall it and set an alarm for 7am instead. What a chunk o junk.

Might be smart to make the Stupid Deal app offer the option of using the Facebook app when sharing the Deal. Instead of just the internet.

This is a really awesome app. It has some crazy deals! The only thing I reccomend to them is that they put the reviews from the customers on the app.

The app never loads the offer regardless of whether or not I'm on 3G, LTE, or WiFi.

Still waiting for this thing to tell me that a stupid deal has appeared.

What makes this app "stupid" is that it sends me alerts the day after the "deal" has already sold out. It should be called the "look at what you missed" app.

The settings page has slide bars for sounds, vibrate, notifications on/off, and quiet time, BUT on my Galaxy Note 3, the sliders will not move so I can't adjust any settings. I tried uninstalling and downloading the app a couple of times to no avail-problem still there. ...C'mon you guys, a little QC or a new version with some bug fixes please?

Still having problems loading

I loved this app. Loved. It used to work great and I've made numerous impulse buys and have never been disappointed, but suddenly the app stopped loading. Just sits on black screen with spinning loader. Just in time for Thanksgiving & Black Friday sales! Thanks!

I love the stupid deal of the day but this app takes forever to load or it times out. Eventually I just give up. It would be nice if the app actually worked.

When I get the notification, it usually sits and spins or shows the previous deal.

This App worked perfectly on my old phone but recently upgraded to an LG G3 and the app half the times doesn't show up on my notification bar at the top. When it does show up and I click on it, it goes to the Orange screen then just closes without showing me the offer. Then after like 2 minutes it'll randomly open and show me the offer.

I get the normal notifications fine, but when I try to view a bonus deal I never connect to the server.

...but it seldom loads on the first try. I'm running it on a Galaxy Note 3, so I doubt that a hardware issue is at fault.

I love the idea of this app, AND... I've bought things because of it, AND... I'm a big fan of yours, BUT... Unfortunately, in business, the perception is that if your app sucks, then you suck. Please get this app sorted out.

Works terrible. Almost never loads the deal and when it does its quite late.

When getting a bonus deal.....it just locks up

The app, when working, performs as advertised. Problem is that it rarely opens.
