Sleep Talk Recorder

Recorded nothing in the night until I woke up. Then you either have to pay for full version or watch ads to access what it recorded. This is on samsung. On iPhone the app was superb a few years ago. I will stick to snore lab. Much better and records everything and you listen for free! And also it wants access to all your calls before you can even download it..why?

Got the app last night to try it out. It seemed promising. But when I opened the app this morning to listen, there's a padlock icon over the recording and pressing play won't work. After a few seconds, there's a pop up telling me I can only listen to the first 2 hours (which I can't! ) of recording and I will have to pay to upgrade. So disappointing and such a waste of phone space!

Pretty much what everyone else said. Switched to Samsung from apple and now its a piece. New app is worthless. Would pay upfront to get the app and use it. Thinking it's free than feeling like I've given my money to a homeless person isn't a great way to go about it.

Great new UI and features. However, at least once a week the app seems to freeze and doesn't record anything over that particular night. Would bump to 5 stars if that could be fixed. Using the paid version here.

Great in the past. Never had a problem. Now, after payment for new version... recording doesn't work. Tested it before sleeping. Works. But seems like a whole night's session is too much or something, and it just aborts the entire set of sound clips.

I had this app a long time ago and it worked fine. I recently recorded the whole night, I go to listen to it and says, "no recording had been made" or whatever. App bug or phone compatibility? -S3 galaxy.

That I've recorded something, ie: the length but says nothing has been recorded and won't play anything. its worked on previous devices just not this Huawei p9lite which obviously has a mic. And yes permissions are set correctly. Unfortunately uninstalled.

I got this app ages ago worked a treat when it was free! Following the update after I had paid for it, it worked for a few weeks, another update and hasn't worked since. I even left it a few months hoping the bug would be fixed but still not working. Sadly I know I sleep talk most nights and I'm terrible for sleep walking so it's not me! Really sad, as it used to work so well.

I upgraded to the paid for version and tried 3 nights running no recordings were made. What a waste of money! Total rip off

This app used to be completely free to use and they should've kept it that way. Now you can only listen to the first two hours for free. What a sneaky update. Don't download this unless you want to be disappointed.

This app used to be brilliant on my iPhone around 4 years ago. Not sure if it's the upgrades or the android version but this is pure garbage. Changing the sensitivity doesn't make a difference, it picked up 4 noises throughout the whole night of just the duvets moving. And on top of that, you have to pay to hear anything past first hour! What a waste of time, bring back old version!

Had this app on iPhone 5 and it worked perfectly. My phone alarm would still go off and there was also an alarm in the app. Samsung app doesn't have built in alarm and if I set my own alarm, it is silenced and only vibrates. App also only records me putting the phone on the charger then picking it up and unlocking the screen.

You are required to pay £1.50 to unlock the recordings, which is a bit disappointing. I may have considered paying, but I don't know what the quality is like. Ideally I like to try before I buy but unfortunately this option is not available.

One time i recorded 34 min. after i fell asleep. i wanted to hear it and it says no recording has been done. I dont get it

Used to be the best app to tell me what went on during the night. The recordings were clear and never let me down. This app was one of the first of its kind. Now others have got better and this one has got worse. Sad to say I Will be uninstalling to make room for a better recorder.

Used to be good. Now it corrupts your phone. Stop recording half way through the night. Crashes and have to pay to listen to recordings. Make it like it used to be!

I paid for this app and the only thing it records is the alarm in the morning. Worthless app. I give it one star because it will record if you sit and talk into it. Otherwise it's garbage.

Downloaded this app 2 days ago and both nights I've used it my alarm has failed to go off. When I unlock my phone it says the clock has stopped working, didn't happen before I had this app.

This app won't let you listen to the first recording unless you pay so I paid for the full version, didn't get the premium features and asked to pay again. TOTAL SCAM

I had this app on my iphone and it was great, Ive got an android now and it just does not work at all. Only picks up noise from fb and txt. Also freezes after listening to my 5 records it always picks up and it also stops when it wants too! Waste of money on Android. Fix it please.

Don't see what all the hate is about...? People complaining that you have to upgrade to listen to the tracks etc... Wth app are you using coz it isn't this one? Lol

The app is very sensitive and picks up everything. I told talk much in my sleep, but I do move around a lot. The app picks up any shuffling noise so I can track how much I am waking during the night.

This was perfect on my iPhone I've moved to android and it records nothing. My fire alarm was beeping and it didn't even pick that up! The only thing it picks up is when the alarm (on my phone!) goes off in the morning. I used to love this app. :(

Lots of adverts. Crashes phone. Used to be a good app. I can't give it minus start as it would be - 5 . it sure what it's doing behind the scens now. Removed from my phone!!!

Downloaded this app because I thought it would be cool. People tell me I talk in my sleep and always wondered what I say etc. This app records nothing at all and automatically closes or stops recording on its own in the middle of the night. I should have read the reviews before downloading because it seems other people have been experiencing the same issues. I'll be uninstalling.

Used to work. Now doesn't. I tried shouting into it with the sensitivity on full and it didn't record.

Used to be good. Now utter pants! Doesn't tell you it only lets you listen to 2hrs before unlocking. And that's if it actually records!!! AWFUL!!

TERRIBLE! AWFUL! This app used to be great. Don't waste your time downloading it now it doesn't even work... And wants you to pay for it not working. Uninstalled!

This app used to work really well with good functionality. Now it looks pretty but doesn't work at all! Very frustrating!

Useless, nowhere near as good as it used to be, also it's not free, costs £1.50 to hear more than 2 coughs !

I used this for over a year on my iPhone with no dramas, it was easily a 5 star app. Now have a Samsung and its terrible, recorded nothing and I'm a noisy sleeper, tested it today and basically had to yell directly into the mic to catch anything. Plus I'm reading reviews about paying? Pffft. You're joking right? Still have faith this app can be saved but for now I'll be looking at other apps. 1 star app would not recommend.

This app was good once upon a time but now? I wouldnt recommend it if it was the only sleep talk recorder on the playstore, which it isnt. Stop being so greedy. Figure out the fine line between digging in my pockets for money and begging for it. Uninstalled.

Records only for a few minutes then shuts down, I've set it as a protected app as well, left it to run and tried shouting, nothing... Only the alarm triggers it to record so I end up with just the alarm when I wake up. I almost paid, now I'll be unintalling.

Doesn't work most times, recording nothing at all. Also are you joking asking for further payment?! I downloaded this when it was a chargeable app so I've already paid for the app, I don't expect to have to pay again when you update it!

BAD! USELESS and DISAPPOINTED! I used this apps when it was free. It was a very good apps (last time). After that it upgraded and need to pay. It totally crap! I paid for it thinking that it as useful as before. Now the app not only not recording it well, it also 'silent' my morning alarm. Just sucks!

Had this app on my old iPhone, now have a Sony Xperia z3 and doesn't record at all, very disappointed as this used to be a great app and now pointless waste of time, no functionality whatsoever

Used for a while then it was updated and now wont let you listen to your recordings and you need to by pro to get access to it all... once ***** now ** bye bye you will be exterminated frim this device

Very disappointed I have used this app for years used to be perfect now its upgraded it never records anything. And I tested it by shouting and it still never picked up on it. Wasted £1.50 on this piece of crap!!!! So annoyed by this.

I'll join the band wagon by agreeing with most people. Use to be a good little app. now complete and utter rubbish. Uninstalling and now looking for replacement. Bad move asking for payment after years of being free.

You can listen to all your recorded clips FREE. Go to files on your phone and choose this apps folder and you can click and listen to every clip free. I've been using this for months. Only drawback is trying to listen to clips on the app itself.
