Group Share for Gmail

This was awesome before the forced upgrade. Now it is so slow. I have to wait for up to 3 minutes before I can write or paste in the mail. I'm only allowed to use the title box. Very frustrating. Please fix

Wonderful App!!!!! I use to take over 60 minutes emailing each person on the distribution list. Now; with groups going to the Bcc entry - for privacy: 5 minutes. Thank you; thank you, thank you.

And this update to the unlocker finally got a hide feature (after I deleted all my Google groups). Now it needs a feature to hide the unlocker in the app drawer. In general, a lame direction for end users.

Group share provides functionality that the Gmail app has been lacking for far too long. It's a real time saver.

Lets me email contact groups from my phone instead of logging in to my laptop.

I can't believe Google doesn't make this core functionality available in its apps. Many thanks for this invaluable workaround, which I use regularly - although I wish the icon was a little less ugly...

Love the flexibility to add groups in various ways. Find launching the app to compose a new message to be easier than the keyboard option in the To but neato workaround for lack of autocomplete. Accounts can be changed in settings but should be changeable on the fly when selecting groups..

It will not let me add more than one group to the note 5. It says it is added but does bot appear in my list.

Free started severely lagging due to ads, so I just bought. I've used it so long, was about time. Of course, it's about time gmail added group email functionality as well, which it will likely due the moment my 2 hour refund window closes ;-) I just wish it wasn't soooo ugly. Would it be so hard to rebuild this simple interface with a full material design? Also would like ability to hide groups...nearly hit "Starred in Android" way to many times as the interface is very cramped (shouldn't this be removed by unclicking show system groups?)...Removing groups actually deletes from Google Contacts!!!

I wasted so much time trying to work out why Gmail contacts didn't sync to my phone - dumb Google un-feature. Solved by this fantastic app. Can now email to a group as BCC. Thanks MadgettSoft!!!

Extraordinary app - overcomes all Gmail failings for Group addresses. Remember to read the settings - they are the key to its flexibility!

I use this app multiple times a day and it saves me a ton of time. I am a little confused on using the keyboard feature. I can't seem to get it to work on my phone. Also, it would be nice if I could set a default subject line that is specific to each group. I don't know anybody that uses the same subject line for everyone they email.

Really very unclear why GOOG won't get it together to allow use of contact groups within the Gmail mobile app. But this app allows users to access, edit, and use those groups in Gmail.

Was using free, now Pro. Same functionality as free, but feels good to pay for a good app.

Great for sending to groups. You can either create the groups here or computer and send via this app. While I have an HTC one m8 that provides this functionality natively in the built in email app, I wanted something that would work on my nexus 7 in lollipop or in the future with other email apps or if I switched phone hardware. Works well

I have been looking for a long time for a way to send emails to a large group (400 addresses). Works like a charm, and app support has been most helpful.

This does a good job of addressing the issue of not being able to send gmails to your defined Groups from within the Gmail app. I found I did have to go into the GGS app's Settings & check off Invisible Groups so I could actually see my groups. I also set the "Enable keyboard" option; an option that works quite well. The only problem I had, on Nexus 10, was when I installed the paid version of GGS & uninstall the Free version, it locked up my Android 5.0.1 standard launcher. Reboot cleared up the problem.

Great app. Does what gmail should do. It would be even better if you could select multiple groups.

I bought it because apps like this deserve to be bought.

Didn't work at all on my Nexus 7. Contacts Manager Pro did the trick. The real frustration is with Google for not getting Group Contacts into the email app in the first place.

While I struggled a little at first to figure out the features and how to get it to display all my groups, it is actually easy. When I got that done, this think worked wonderfully! I use it constantly now, on all my android devices (4 of them). Good job!!

Why can't Google allow this in Gmail?

Does exactly what it claims simply and efficiently. Fills a BIG hole left by native Google mail and people app for sending group emails. I use this every day.

Only solution that I have found for something that should've been in the Gmail app all along. Nice job!

for what I need! The forwarding via keyboard is such a clever work around. I'm so glad you continued to work on the issue and came up with such a creative solution. I will use this frequently. No more hunting for a computer to forward emails with attachments to my groups!

I still don't understand why this isn't a standard feature in the Gmail app, but in the mean time, this fills the gap very well.

More features needed, such as Email forwarding to groups, ideally built into gmail / email app.

This is a very clean and simple to use solution for a huge hole in Google's gmail app. When I had an issue, support from the developer was quick , it turned out to be a user problem not a bug :-o High on my list of most used apps.

I'm constantly emailing gmail groups and I've been looking for a convenient way to do this through my phone for months. This is perfect and works like a charm. Super simple to setup and use.

I've looked, and there are only around 2 or 3 apps that can help with gmailing to groups. This one is simple and lightweight, works very well. I got the paid version to support the Dev. Good job!

Great application, very straightforward does what it says it will do, as far as I know, this was the only way I could send an email to a group within my google contacts, I don't understand why this is not native within the gmail or people apps themselves, so using this app does take more time, adds another step but it is very convenient as opposed to entering large groups manually. Great settings and options as well, great work developer! I had to get the paid version, give credit where credit is due!
