Mt. Lemmon Science Tour for Android
This was super useful and educational! My 4 year old even loved listening to this as we went up the mountain. Loved learning about the history and finding of this mountain. Definitely a must have for your first visit!
I thought this was a wonderful drive and will do it again. Very informative app as you drive up in elevation thru the mountain.
The kids loved it too
Fantastic companion to a stunning drive.
Great resource for Tourists as well as locals. I remember the days of audio cassettes, turn on at mile marker x, beep, now turn off. Thanks for your efforts, we enjoyed it! BTW, found the article in "Tucson Guide" summer 2016 page 7.
Oh my gosh, this was an excellent way to take a tour! I wonder if there are more apps like this for different areas around the United States? What a brilliant idea! Kept right on Pace with where we were since we were driving the speed limit. And we learned a whole lot!

Awesome app. Learned a lot. Kids loved it. Recommended for everyone.
Great job! Shipherd Reed and thanks to Joey Burns for his narrative. Now I'd like to see a similar app for Frank Rose's flowering plants of the Catalinas. Please let me know if I can help make that happen.
Very nice! But seriously lots of info I didn't know and I was born here in 84 so I like it

This is a GREAT app to take on the drive up Mt Lemmon. The audio track comments on the drive as you pass through different life zones and has great info about stuff you probably never knew, even if you've lived here for 50 years like me. There are slide shows and great graphics that help explain the audio track, when you want to take a break in the drive. You download all the info, so you don't need a cell signal in the canyons. :-) Download the app now and listen to the "How to Use" section so you'll be ready to go when you leave Tanque Verde on the way up the Catalina Highway. If you load it onto a tablet, you'll be able to see some of the diagrams and other graphics a little more clearly. They're hard to read on a cell phone screen. ENJOY!
