No need to ping my location 55 times in a two day period! If I did not have to wait twenty minutes on hold to get a dispatch I would never let anyone have all my phone data! They told my company no data was being used in this app but I know better.

Said to install it.. Had it before ate up my data.. And the broker said your good to go.. What's the urgent message you had for me but couldn't tell me and fyi I have been on hold for 45 minutes now

I thought my dispatch could give brokers access to Omnitracs so the broker could track the truck. Isn't that way it usually happens. Or is my dispatch just not wanting to do that? This is just another one of those small reasons why I am getting tired of this job in general.

I send in my arrival time at the receiver 30 minutes before my appointment time yet it says I was 15 late. Because of that I got screwed out of detention pay. So either the broker tampered with the time stamp or this app is worthless. I'm guessing both.

Like hundreds of others said, invasive. And brokers have the ability to track you even if they don't send you a shipment. And if they do, your phone doesn't tell you till you open your app. I have full confidence in thousands of people with access to macropoint....

Just keeps saying configuring. I am extremely mobile tech savvy and the app won't work because I have my phone locked down. Make it a messenger app, not a data mine.

Don't know why drivers are complaining about the app. I use it when I run UPS loads and it works great for me. I don't have a problem with them tracking my location. It's there freight they have the right to know where it's location.

Like others mentioned, there is no reason to need access to personal files and the camera. Aside of that, there is no use to communicate with the broker. It tells you the address and that's it!

App is very suspicious with permissions, my phone is rooted so I am able to shut down permissions that I don't like as long as they don't interfere with the app upon disabling access to my camera it broke the app, huge red flag here why is it absolutely necessary for that stuff?

Why do you insist on me using this app to track my PHONE when my phone is not hauling the load. Then you call me every 2 hours anyway, why did you demand I use this really?

my contacts, pics, phone calls, and other personal info has nothing to do with the load that I am on. Once this load is over I'm uninstalling it.

I don't like the idea of people having access to my personal information if any of it is turned Loose by accident or on purpose there will be a lawsuit

There is no reason to have this much access other than to the GPS. This will be uninstalled once I get my shipment. UPDATE. I just today called macro point at their home office in Ohio to have my phone number delete it from there database after the second company told me I was hiding my location from them. I uninstalled macropoint months ago. Macropoint told me once a phone number is in their database they will never remove it.

Needs so much access to everything. But Amazon makes you have it. On top of using tje qualcom. I don't like it. Will def be deleting when I get done

I haul loads for CH Robinson, app is super easy to use and saves me alot of time because I don't have to sit on hold on the phone trying to talk to a dispatcher with CH Robinson.

Great for the shipper and rcvr addresses, and eliminating bothersome brokerage calls. It is a brokerage tool, PRIMARILY, and for that reason alone, invasive.

I bought a brand new Moto G5 plus with the new Android operating system 7.0. Macropoint will not work. Called support numerous times and also emailed. Technical support says nothing they can do. Refuses to look into the issue.

Well I've read the reviews and I believe the app only needs location However I don't use my data or location so they are screwed I did turn data on only to check in at shipper yeah C.H.Robinson called me to ask if I was loaded when I said I used the app he said oh yeah didn't read it right will never install this again

I was forced by a broker to use this app for their load since its part of their policy given to dispatch, not to the driver. This is my personal phone, not a work phone.

Download it now my phone keeps crashing. Uninstalling!

They can't always get your location so then they start texting yes texting you at 11:09 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. that's when they just start calling you. Well you've been warned good luck

Can we say INVASION OF PRIVACY. There's no reason for you to be tracked like this. I'm deleting it

This all goes to nopesville, macropoint also have been noticed to keep tracking your phone without prior consent and keeping gps logs even few days after delivered load and sent message STOP, all this was brought to attention to cell phone providers and authorities!

Why do you need access to this? Is it part of tracking? I think not... as soon as i am done with my load i am deleting this privacy invasion.

Why does it need access to my camera and files? Dispatchers have no reason for that information. Location is what I was told its for. Don't just hit accept read first.

Uninstall it once you drop and reinstall once you pu.so your off time in between is your personal busisness.or go to settings once you dropped and click apps.click on the macro app click force stop.or just shut off data.for time period..

Have same question regarding privacy issues as other 100500 users.

This app is invasive. The permissions it requires has nothing to do with trucking. Why do you need access to anything more than my GPS to track me on a load. Hope they enjoy the porn and nude pics. Can't wait to deliver and delete this crap. Will never haul for UPS again.
