نحن مجموعة من الشباب المؤمن بأن الفيصل في الحكم على الأقوال والأفعال والنوايا هو مدى اقترابها أو ابتعادها عن مصلحة الناس، في سوادهم الأعظم، كما يفهمونها هم وليس كما تريد النخب السياسية أو الثقافية أو الفكرية أو الاقتصادية أن تصور، غايتها في ذلك الانسجام مع قوله تعالى: "فأما الزبد فيذهب جفاء وأما ما ينفع الناس فيمكث في الأرض".
وعليه، تعاقدنا على المعايير المهنية والأخلاقية التالية، منهجا لعملنا في موقع "مشاهد"، وترجمة لرسالتنا الإعلامية:
- جمهورنا المستهدف هم على وجه الخصوص جميع أبناء وبنات هذا الجزء من وطننا العربي، ونقصد الأقطار المغاربية الخمسة: تونس، الجزائر، ليبيا، المغرب وموريتانيا، وباقي المتكلمين بالعربية في كل مكان.
- العروبة بالنسبة لنا هي عروبة اللسان، ولا علاقة لها بالأعراق من قريب أو بعيد. وهو ما نفهمه من قول خالقنا: وإنه لتنزيل رب العالمين، نزل به الروح الأمين، على قلبك لتكون من المنذرين، بلسان عربي مبين. وبهذا المعنى فكل من تكلم العربية فهو عربي.
- بناء على ما تقدم، لا مكان لدعاة التعصب العرقي أو المذهبي أو اللغوي أو باقي الشرور التي ابتلينا بها من مكان بيننا. عربي العرقي كالأمازيغي، مالكي المذهب كالشافعي، السني والشيعي، بل والمسلم واليهودي والمسيحي، وكل من يعتقد بالإله الواحد عندنا سواء.
- رغم احترامنا للمواثيق الدولية التي تحتم احترام ما أورثناه الاستعمار من حدود بين أقطار وطننا العربي، فإننا جزء من ثقافة عربية إسلامية عمرها أزيد من أربعة عشر قرنا، لطالما عشناها ننسب الناس لمدنهم ومناطقهم لا لدولهم، تيسيرا للتعارف، لا تبريرا للتقوقع والانغلاق. وعليه فأبناء شرق المغرب وغرب الجزائر كمثال، أسرة واحدة بينها من الأواصر ووحدة المزاج أكثر مما بينهما وأبناء شرق الجزائر وغرب المغرب. تنوع هو بالنسبة لنا مصدر غنى، ولم يكن يوما مبررا للتباهي أو مسوغا للفرقة.
- واعتبارا للمعطى السابق، فالوطن العربي الكبير، ومغربنا الكبير جزء أساسي منه، هو وحدة واحدة ليس على المستوى الوجداني والعاطفي فحسب، وإنما على جميع مستويات التحليل الأخرى، ونعتبر أنه رغم تعدد أقطاره، فمن حق جميع أبنائه التنقل، أشخاصا وممتلكات، بين مختلف أجزائه دون تأشيرات، بلا منّة من أحد، وإنما كحق طبيعي لأبناء هذه الجغرافيا الشاسعة والتاريخ الممتد.
- وعليه، نقف بشراسة ضد أية محاولة لزيادة تجزيء ما هو مجزء أصلا، ولا نعترف أو نساند أي حركة انفصالية في جزء من أجزاء وطننا العربي الكبير، مهما اختلفت المبررات والأسباب. مؤمنين بوحدتنا رغم اعترافنا واعتزازنا بتنوعنا العرقي والمذهبي واللغوي والديني والاجتماعي...الخ.
- لا نؤمن بإعلام الإثارة، ولا باللعب على وتر غرائز الناس ومشاعرهم البدائية، ونحن أبعد ما نكون عن أجواء الاستقطاب بين هذه الفئة أو البلد وذاك. شعارنا "عين على المغرب الكبير" يجسد طموحنا للعب دور الشاهد النزيه والمحايد، الذي يقرأ ويحلل المشهد في هذه الدول، في أبعاده المختلفة، بحياد وتجرد وموضوعية، بعيدا عن الانحياز لما لا نعتقد أنه يحقق مصالح الناس.
- المس بمشاعر الناس ومعتقداتهم واختياراتهم الشخصية خط أحمر، والشخصنة والتجريح ممنوعان في صياغة الأخبار أو التعليق عليها، ونعتذر سلفا عن مرور أية كلمة تخالف هذا المبدأ تحت ضغط العمل وتسارع الأحداث.
