Das Gourmetquiz

Das Gourmetquiz der Edition Egon Mark, als Applikation für Smartphones, ist eine zeitgemäße Form sich Wissen rund um das Thema Kulinarik auf unterhaltsame Art anzueignen.

Das Quiz enthält 888 Fragen mit jeweils 4 Antwortmöglichkeiten und eine ausführliche Erklärung bzw. Begründung zu den richtigen Antworten. Die Quizfragen sind in 7 Fachgebiete unterteilt: „DIE KLASSIKER DER KÜCHE“, „AUS DEN KÜCHEN DER WELT“, „IN DER SPEISENKAMMER“, „BUNTES ALLERLEI“, „AUS DER ERNÄHRUNG“, „BESONDERE GETRÄNKE“ sowie „RICHTIG SERVIERT“.

Nach Auswahl von Kategorie (oder Kategorien) und Anzahl der Fragen werden diese nach dem Zufallsprinzip aus dem Fragenpool mit den vier Antwortmöglichkeiten angezeigt. Auch diese Antworten werden zufällig angeordnet. Nach Beantwortung jeder Frage wird dem Nutzer angezeigt, ob diese richtig oder falsch beantwortet wurde. Ein Erklärungstext mit der Information zur richtigen Antwort steht für jede Frage zur Verfügung. Nach Durchlaufen der gewünschten Anzahl von Fragen wird dem Nutzer eine Auswertung angezeigt und da besteht dann zusätzlich die Möglichkeit, sich eine detaillierte Auswertung per E-Mail zusenden zu lassen (Internetverbindung erforderlich).

Der Autor Egon Mark hat langjährige Praxis in der Gastronomie, Lehramtsprüfungen für Fachberufsschulen und Hotelfachschulen. Er ist zudem Diplom-Sommelier und Weinakademiker mit WSET-Diplom und Serviermeister.

Von ihm sind unzählige Publikationen über Wein und kulinarische Themen sowie mehrere Bücher erschienen. The quiz contains 888 questions each with 4 possible answers, and a detailed explanation and justification for the right answers. The quiz questions are divided into seven subject areas: "THE CLASSICS OF THE KITCHEN", "FROM THE KITCHENS OF THE WORLD", "IN THE FOOD OF APPEAL", "COLORFUL ALLERLEI", "OUT OF THE DIET", "SPECIAL DRINKS" and "REALLY SERVED".

After selecting category (or categories) and number of questions that appear at random from the pool of questions with four possible answers. Even those answers are randomly arranged. After answering each question, the user can see if this has been answered correctly or incorrectly. An explanatory text with the information to the correct answer for each question is provided. After passing through the required number of questions, the user is shown an evaluation and then there is the additional option of inviting them to receive a detailed evaluation by e-mail (internet connection required).

The author Egon Mark has many years of experience in catering, teaching exams for secondary vocational schools and hotel schools. He is also a certified sommelier and wine academics with WSET Diploma and Waiters.
