MedOClock FREE Pill Reminder for Android
I really haven't used it yet. For one it shut down on me. Hopefully I would know in a month.
I have taken medications for my epilepsy on and off since I was 15 and I have never been good at remembering to take my medications which is not good for control of seizures. I have tried pill reminder in the form of the hard plastic container with the days of the week and AM and PM but unless you remember to grab the container than you don't take the pills. Its not like I don't know my dosage or my pills. I need a punch in the arm to remember to take them. I love having an app on my phone to help with reminding me. I actually had to use the FAQ to figure out how to insert my information and medications. I really liked that my meds were already in the database but if yours are not you can add them. I would think if you get this app for a older parent or grandparent you are going to have to program this app for them. The alarm on the med o'clock goes off when it is time to take my meds just like an alarm clock which I love and it makes me #hippiehappy. I recommend you try this app for your android phone (they also have it for Iphone but I know nothing of that app)

I have a complicated med schedule and need to be able to add specific days for specific meds
Do you struggle to remember IF you have taken your meds or WHEN you took them last? I do! But not any longer because of a neat app called Med O’clock™. Now I get a reminder so I don’t forget. Whew.. one less thing for me to worry about! I have tried putting my meds in a daily little box. I have even sent myself emails but I still seem to forget to either take them when I get home or forgot to take the list with me to my medical appointments. Now I have an easy way to keep track of my med schedule as well as the different levels and names. Med O’clock™nofollow sends me a reminder so I never forget which medication I should be taking next. Even if you are not old and forgetful like I am, you can use the Med O’clock™ app for reminding a child or parent. The best feature for me is that Med O’clock™ also allows you to share your full list of medication with medical practitioners via email with a simple touch of a button. The app is easy to set-up with recurring reminders for all your medications. Another feature is the emergency call button. You can program in your emergency contact that you or anyone else can be reached with a simple tap of a button.

Eased my life. I tend to forget my medications a lot. Now no more miss.
I really like this app. It helps me remember when to give my son his medications, plus my own without having to set a bunch of alarms on my phone. It also has the option to click if you have taken it or not, which is particularly helpful where I sometimes forget if I had actually given him the medication or not.
Tried other pill reminder apps. This one is more complete.
This app has a great concept. It has everything you need to stay on track and be reminded of your medications and Dr appointments. It has a med reminder, appointment reminder, medication list, Medical contact list, emergency contacts section and a place to jot notes. It is easy to use and simple interface. However it just doesn't work properly. It force closes constantly when I'm in app and when I'm not in app it is running all the time. When I go into other app a pop up showing = unfortunately medoclock has stopped. Such great potential. I messaged the makers 2 different times letting them know and I haven't gotten any response. Such a shame.
Very useful app. Easy to install and use. Very convenient.!
