Doesn't switch to ounces even though I selected it. Ran same recipe through 3 other calculators and nowhere did I get 500 grams of lye in a 2.2 lb. Recipe. Very dangerous. This app needs to be pulled from the market before someone gets lye burns from using this calculator.

It recommended 75.5 oz of lye in 5.5 oz of liquid for 20 oz of soy oil. No, I think not. Uninstalling

I put in a recipe that I have run through 4 other lye calculators and this app told me to use twice as much lye for 7% reduction on all the other calculators I have used

Enter your oils, also I selected onces... but it switched to grams then keep freezing on me

This app is very bad. It wouldn't go to ounces. It locked up my phone. Then it gave it a virus. USERS BE WARE

Have used a few times now for olive oil soap with good results :-)

Not too bad. But no lard in oils list, cant save recipe, and cant change from grams to oz. after recipe is created.

It is a nice app but still need a lot of improvements.. give u 4 now and 1 other for the update.. you still workin on it right.. can't wait for the update..

Maybe its just a halal or kosher thing, but no pork lard listing?It has every other listed oil! Fantastic app IMHO. Handy if you want to tweak your batch on the fly!

This apparently is very dangerous. Do NOT use it. Find the brambleberry apparently. Its accurate!

They fixed the lye values, but this app is still pretty boring.

It asks if u want to use grams or ounces. The entire soap industry uses ounces. So I click on ounces. Then as soon as I select the types of oils I want it asks for u to input the amount in grams. Why? I input ounces, not grams.

The option to use the "ounces" doesn't work. App keeps shutting down while trying to add amounts which are only available as "grams"

Even contains spelling errors. Recipes can harm you with improper knowledge!

Do Not use this app to calculate lye. Combo recipe of 16 oz olive, 8 oz coconut & 8 oz palm calculated that I needed over 130 oz of lye. This is completely wrong. This app should be removed from market until developers correct it immediately

The first time you open up this app there is a clear warning about the danger working with lye. DO NOT USE THIS APP! Lye Measurements are too much!

Entered a 16 oz oil recipe and it equated a 58 oz lye amount with only 4 oz of water.The calculated lye amount is WAY to high. This app can be dangerous to people how have not done their research on how to make soap safely.

Stays in grams will not convert to ounces or use your superfat. Didn't have the problem with too much lye showing up. Not a good app
